Changes In The Jet Stream

This is an image of how the Gulf Stream kept Europe warm in the past. This summer the North Atlantic Current, which normally flows up around the North of Scotland into the Norwegian sea, dropped down South, to flow South-East. If the Jet Stream would stay where it is, would a large part of Europe freeze this coming winter?

I don't know why Weather Modification pops into my mind? In a sense we are modifying the weather through unclean industrial processes. Of course, drought and desertification of Europe would lead to mass famine. In some ways heavy rain is preferable to no rain at all. There is always a balanced way to do things or one can act in a fragmented, unbalanced way. It is not WHAT you do, but the WAY that you do it. Either we are part of nature, working together - or we are outside nature trying to control those magnificent forces.

"Technology will make available, to the leaders of major nations, techniques for conducting secret warfare, of which only a bare minimum of the security forces need be appraised…Technology of weather modification could be employed to produce prolonged periods of drought or storm." - Zbigniew Brzezinski, Between Two Ages.

I feel that we will have to cooperate to protect the earth from this kind of abuse. The weather is a phenomenon that is open to all people and all nations. The weather is not a weapon... Although Zecharia Sitchin suggested in his translations of the Sumerian tablets that the weather was used/manipulated 'by the gods' to control human populations. To use the weather as a weapon of mass destruction goes against the core values of what the weather actually is. I don't really see that humans can get away with this. It will obviously backfire.

There would have to be an International agreement that any attempt to use the weather against other nations is a crime against all humanity.

The New Little Ice Age

Fire and Ice: The Day After Tomorrow
Laura Knight-Jadczyk

Analysis of the sun's activity in the last two millennia indicates that, contrary to the IPCC's speculation about man-made global warming, that we could be headed into a Maunder minimum type of climate (a Little Ice Age).

The probability is high that the minima around 2030 and 2201 will go along with periods of cold climate comparable to the nadir of the Little Ice Age, and La Ninas will be more frequent and stronger than El Ninos through 2018 (Landscheidt, 2000).

We need not wait until 2030 to see whether the forecast is correct, however. A declining trend in solar activity and global temperature should become manifest long before then. The current 11-year sunspot cycle 23 with its considerably weaker activity seems to be a first indication of the new trend, especially as it was predicted on the basis of solar motion cycles two decades ago. As to temperature, only El Nino periods should interrupt the downward trend, but even El Ninos should become less frequent and strong.

The total magnetic flux leaving the Sun has risen by a factor of 2.3 since 1901 while global temperature on earth increased by about 0.6°C. Energetic flares increased the Sun's ultraviolet radiation by at least 16 percent. There is a clear connection between solar eruptions and a strong rise in temperature.

Lake bottom cores from the Yukatan Peninsula covering more than 2,000 years show a similar correlation between recurrent droughts and the Sun's eruptional activity. These results and many earlier ones (Landscheidt, 1981-2001) document the importance of the Sun's eruptional activity on climate.

Energetic solar eruptions do not accumulate around the sunspot maximum. In most cycles they shun the maximum phase and can even occur close to a sunspot minimum.

I (Landscheidt) have shown for decades that the sun's varying activity is linked to cycles in its irregular oscillation about the centre of mass of the solar system (the solar retrograde cycle). As these cycles are connected with climate phenomena and can be computed for centuries, they offer a means to forecast phases of cool and warm climate.

Researchers need to take the sun seriously as a factor in climate change, including warming, droughts, and cold snaps. "This confirms what I've been saying all along; that our climate is controlled by magnetic activity on the sun." =0=

Body PH - Fungus & Candida Albicans

At last I am beginning to understand the imbalance that leads to and encourages mold growth, yeast and fungus growth inside the body. With the over-abuse of antibiotics, and the fact that it is all in the water supply, add to that the heavy metals, toxic pollutants, legal and illegal drugs floating around in the tap water... it is more a toxic soup we are drinking. Before I was hit with the yeast overgrowth I had noticed a drastic decline in the local water supply to the point that a thin oily film was appearing on the surface of non-filtered heated water. dirty greyish yellow grains were appearing on the bottom of the pan. I thought at the time, okay I am drinking the filtered water. Highly acidic, no doubt! I have not tested it!

Now I have tested the water. Really I did not need to waste a PH test strip indicator for this, but I did it in the interests of scientific research. It looks like the local tapwater has a PH around 5 (highly acidic)... This is what we are all paying for folks... To be served up a floating particle cocktail of illegal drugs, anti-depressants, contraceptives, pain killers, antibiotics and heavy metals.

Cocaine, of course, can pass through the human body and still end up as cocaine in the sewage. This can also be said of antibiotics, pain medications, anti-depressants, anti-inflammatory drugs, cholesterol lowering drugs, blood-pressure lowering drugs, anticonvulsants, cancer-fighting and hormone replacement drugs, and on and on.

Why do you suppose the government only wants to know about the cocaine, though? Why not compare cocaine levels to say, antibiotic levels? The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) needs to measure all the drugs, legal or not. How much used cocaine is safe in American waterways compared to used antidepressants?

Even after passing through water filtration plants, tap water in cities all over the world has been found to contain the entire array of modern pharmaceuticals. To the list of toxic heavy metals, PCBs, engine emissions and fluoride wastes in our municipal water, we must now add the entire pharmacopoeia.
=0=

It took me three months to come to this point where I understand a lot more about the strange allergy reactions I was getting, even from foods I once used to heal myself, whenever I got sick (or out of balance). You can translate "Allergy" into "Acidity". The reason for that is it all turns in a vicious circle, and unless one finds the right solutions the negative spin keeps spinning = acidity.

The way I understand it, this is my own unified field theory, the acidity, the drop in PH, the growth of molds, yeasts and fungus in the body are all part of one imbalance that keeps the dis-resonance in place. It is not only that the molds, fungus, yeasts and toxins like an acidic environment - they ARE the environment. However, the imbalance within the body itself is the trigger that allows the uncontrolled increase of the fungus, mold and yeast overgrowth.

We humans are moving around and around with a bi-polar magnifying glass studying the joints of a finger or a toe, the inflammed joints of the hips, shoulders, knees or vertebra, the breakdown of muscles and tendons, vitamin and mineral deficiencies, glandular and hormonal imbalances. When you have a yeast (Candida) overgrowth it is like you have hit on the motherload of all medicinal symptoms and deficiencies. You can be diagnosed with anything - cos you've got it all. It just depends which Candida-blind specialist you get to know on the diagnostic tree of life, and how they view the science of illness.

The interesting thing is that the medical profession all exhibit the same symptoms, similar to a form of colour blindness... the health care professionals are all Candida-blind, with secondary advanced symptoms of fungus-blind and mold-blind side effects. Even when it is right there in front of them they cannot see Candida, they are completely blind to the fungus, yeast, mold spectrum-of-light-frequency. If you cannot see it then you cannot identify it and treat it. Those who do see Candida are laughed at and ridiculed. If it is invisible, then how can it be there effecting people? I don't see the mold. Do you? No, I don't see it either.

The PH Candida imbalance is a very strange animal. Once that imbalance has taken root in the out of balance body it takes on a life of its own. One of the strangest factors is the way it all reacts inside the body. All the natural foods I would normally use to heal myself would set off a severe allergy reaction. It has taken me three months to understand this, as I observe how my digestive system reacts to different foods.

The food Candida-free programmes advise people not to eat, were the foods that actually helped me regain balance. Of course, I used them intelligently. I was able to use the Kefir to nourish my body while I worked to get the yeast, mold and fungus overgrowth under control. I think I now understand the reason for this. At first, when I realised that I was having a severe allergy reaction to molds and fungus in foods, I attempted to implement a high raw food alkali cleansing diet, only to find that I was having a severe allergy reaction to organic celery, lettuce, cucumbers, fresh wheatgrass, fruit etc. Basically any natural alkali high cleaning food. All I could eat were Avocados and radishes once I had carried out the colon cleanse and Kefir diet for six to ten weeks.

Since I began to use the Dr. Wolz Enzymes and the Darm Flora, I can eat normally again and I am not having these allergy reactions to organic steamed vegetables etc. The way I see it is this... Right at the start I was a walking growth container for molds, parasites, fungus, toxins and yeast. This was due to acidity, but all these contaminants also cause acidity. They live and function in an acid environment and they excrete toxic waste, which also creates an acid environment, polluting and killing the cells of the body.

If I switch to a high alkali cleansing diet I am going to create an environment which kills the overload of mold, fungus, parasites and yeast. The waste toxins from the dying and dead fungus/yeast cells are going to pollute my body. In that case you can be sure I have an allergic reaction when I eat cleansing alkali foods. However, I was not reacting to Yoghurt and Kefir, probably because they are more acidic and are full of beneficial lactobacilli. So, they do not hit the body so hard with a toxic wave of dead yeast cells.

I was also putting elements into the Kefir that would benefit and improve my health. I added Grapefruit seed extract, colliodial silver, silica powder (Kieselerde), Aloe Vera juice and later drops of Zell Oxygen (enzymes). Over the weeks this reduced the pollutants without causing a big reaction, to the point that I can now begin to eat foods that will regain the correct PH balance without encountering allergy reactions. What is an allergy reaction other than over-acidity? I look at the PH of the local water and it is the lowest PH on the test chart I have: PH 5

pH Test: Water with a pH of less than 6.5 or greater than 8.0 can corrode your plumbing and introduce dissolved metals into your drinking water. These metals may pose a serious health hazard. =0=

The problem people face is that when they kill the yeast, molds and fungus they can create a death-of-the-fungus acid inside the body, that is hitting an already exhausted immune system. This is probably why the intestinal bacteria supplements are the best approach to take, as they do not cause such a severe and sudden toxic die-off.

Navigate The Falling Dollar

This video, is one of the most honest overviews of the situation facing all people with regard to market forces and how we interact economically. If we are going to find a real solution to environmental destruction, we are all going to have to understand that spiritual environmental relationships are an important part of the solution. Safely Navigate The Falling Dollar

The intrusion into and the destruction of the world's forests are the result of quick and easy removal of local resources to feed an expanding and parasitic global need for resources. Humans extend their need into the surviving forests, and extract the living and essential resources - creating a 'desert'. We then build new structures on this desert while the towns and cities fall into decay behind us.

All across the world, people with the means want to move out of the pollution and the decay of aging cities and relocate to unexploited areas. The rapid growth of relocating and immigrant populations create the same problems in the unexploited areas, eventually turning those areas into dirty towns and cities...

The solution to these severe environmental problems is to turn around and face them, not to take the 'cheap option' of exploiting new tracts of unexploited land. The cheaper option of extending our needs into remaining forests and natural tracts of land is actually, in the long run, the more costly option. If we would turn around and face the monster we have created, kill it and create environmentally sound living areas - then we would also be creating economically sound relationships with nature.

I like Catherine Austin Fitts' 'Tapeworm Economics' model... "If we want clean water, fresh food, a sound financial system, and healthy communities, we are going to have to finance and govern these resources ourselves. That means withdrawing our support from the institutions that are draining us."

In my own view, local investment in sustainable solutions is vital to facing this environmental monster intelligent people are now fleeing from... That investment is going to have to come from the grassroots solutions of the local people in the local communities. There is a treasure of information on the Solari.com website. "The Tapeworm Economy is a politically managed economy in which a small handful of insiders extract subsidy from many outsiders. The first step to creating the future we deserve and desire is to understand how The Tapeworm really works."

The Economic Matrix

The Living Cells of The Economic Matrix

If you take time to study the information on Solari.com, the most important consideration is, who constitute the atoms of the parasitic economic matrix? There are a lot of 'Conspiracy Theories' about ruling elites manipulating and controlling the lives of 'ordinary human beings'. The conspiracy theories mostly draw the involvement of the ordinary matrix individual as that of a victim. Very few people step back a little further and perceive that the Matrix, or the Ecomomic Matrix is made of all the individual decisions of the 'ordinary' people on the planet.

One of the few people who navigated through the collective fog to point out to people that "We are the world," was Jiddu Krishnamurti. The same applies to environment, economics and society. The physical material atoms of human culture is us, and the structure of those atoms is our behaviour. A more accurate conspiracy theory as to why our world functions in the way it does is that it does so because of us. The economic behaviour of the masses creates the environmental monster that is currently destroying our planet.

A lot of people may say they don't really care about that. This lack of concern is the behaviour of the current matrix in terms of greed, desire for more, patterns of consumption: the economic behaviour that is destroying our world and our environment. The structure of the matrix is all of us together. The way we all interact with our world sends a signal similar to the behaviour of electrons orbiting an atom. Caring individuals would create a totally different signal, a totally different economic behaviour and a totally different relationship with our world. The monster the conspiracy theorists love to describe is us, we are that monster and we maintain the atomic structure of its cancerous growth through how we think and how we live our lives.

How will you change your life now so that the forests can outlive you?

Building The Future With Hemp

All over the Pacific Northwest one can see the effects of the massive deforestation that's been taking place out there during the past 20 years. Whole valleys and mountainsides have been clear-cut - stripped of all plant life - to meet our insatiable demand for fiber, paper and wood. So when High Times learned that Bill Conde, a longtime hemp activist who once ran for governor of Oregon, was researching making an alternative to plywood utilizing hemp, we decided to look into it.

What immediately stands out when going to see Conde is the huge billboard for Conde's Redwood Lumber on the side of Interstate 5, just outside of Harrisburg, Oregon. On one side of the company name is a giant green marijuana leaf and on the other side is an American flag inside a peace sign. In the heart of lumber country, the lumber industry is talking about planting hemp and converting to it as a primary source of fiber. Credit goes largely to Conde, David Seber and Barry Davis, partners in the research and development company called C & S, the company at the forefront in research on hemp use for fiber. HT met with Conde and Seber - Davis was unavailable - to find out what progress they've made in developing a substitute for clear-cutting old-growth forest.

High Times: Bill, why don't you tell me about where you grew up and how you ended up in the lumber business?

Bill Conde: I was born in 1943 and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Grew up there, graduated from high school, went into the military for four years, then went to work at several different places. I ended up involved in the mobile home industry, where I had to buy redwood. I moved to Oregon about twenty years ago and opened up a redwood lumber yard down in Cottage Grove. One day while I was driving home from a delivery I picked up this hitchhiker - David Seber - and we've been buddies ever since. He's the "S" in C&S.

HT: When and why did you start working to develop hemp fiber for commercial use?

BC: David and I have been working on hemp as a fiber for nearly four years now. The why of it really has to do with twenty-five years of being an old-growth redwood merchant, working with the dead bodies of the oldest living things on the planet. It starts weighing heavy on you if you have any conscience at all.

I just reached point where I asked myself, "What's my life for?" I mean, it surely wasn't just to cut down old trees and make picnic tables and decks out of them. And that's when I realized that as someone in the industry I was in a position to help make the change over, to change the fiber that's being utilized. So David, Barry Davis and I formed C&S to try to do just that. And in the four years we've been working on it we've made great progress.

HT: When I ask hemp activists, they say Bill Conde's the guy who's been active the longest. Any truth to that?

BC: In the state of Oregon that's probably true, but there are a lot of us who have been doing it a long time. Personally, I was really encouraged years ago - back in the sixties - when I saw a guy walk into a courtroom in Southern California with a live plant in his hand and set it on the judge's desk. It had a little sign that said "God grew it." That was my first inkling that something was really wrong with the way the whole system was. Actually, the first time I smoked a joint, I knew there was something wrong with the laws.

HT: Why don't you tell me a little about yourself, David?

David Seber: I was born and grew up on the East Coast. I attended two universities, Fairleigh Dickinson College and the University of Denver, in which I hid in the late sixties until coming in contact with the whole counterculture movement. I've been a hemp enthusiast ever since.

In 1980, after working in the ceramic tile industry and doing international business representing Japan, Korea and Brazil in the US market, I went into the lumber business. I established a redwood lumber yard down in southern Oregon working with William - who taught me everything I know about the lumber business - and I've been associated with it ever since. Eventually we came to the conclusion that it was time - because we had made a good part of our living from wood - that we ought to give something back to the forests and decided to look into establishing hemp as an alternative for wood. When we started looking for a place to begin we came up with the idea of fiberboard.

HT: How did you come up with that?

DS: Well, after making an initial study of "hemp activities" that were going on, we determined that no one was doing anything in terms of construction products whatsoever. Then I came across a book called "Modern Particle Board and Fiberboard Manufacturing," and William and I learned what the industry was about. The author's name is Tom Malone, and I called him. It turns out Tom is the foremost expert in wood construction composites in the world and runs the wood products laboratory at the Washington State University. We went to visit him and presented him with what we thought was the potential for the use of the hemp fiber in replacing wood. And not only did he confirm to us the impending timber shortage and the real need for a substitute, but he felt hemp had great potential.

HT: How did you go about beginning the actual work on the idea?

DS: We immediately made an agreement to enter into a formal contractual relationship between our company, C&S Specialty Builders, and Washington State University, then went about locating and importing some fiber for him. I ended up connecting with the French Hemp Institute of Le Mans, which provided us with fifteen hundred pounds of hemp fiber. At the same time, we started making our initial contacts in the lumber industry to see if we could generate some interest in what we were doing. And although we were initially met mostly with snickers, there were a few people who were interested in the idea.

Now when you talk to production-level people in the lumber industry, you don't ask, "How did the wood turn out?" You ask, "How was the fiber?" If the fiber's good, you know you have good stock coming back. If the fiber is bad, you know you're in trouble with the lumber you're going to receive. Inside the industry everyone anywhere near a production capacity relates to wood not as wood, but as fiber, and we were really on to something with the fiber aspect of what hemp could do.

HT: So you're confident hemp fiber has applications. Where did you go from there?

DS: We started to approach various sources to see if we could, first, import the fiber, and second, whether we could get manufacturers interested in producing products out of such a thing. I am still working on locating sources to import this raw material because even for our trials we need a pretty massive amount of hemp fiber. The lumber industry is built on the concept of giant volumes, continuous production, and very low profit margins relative to the value of the product. When you talk about your average composite factory, you're talking about a place that uses anywhere from a thousand to fifteen hundred dry tons of biomass in the form of wood chips every day, seven days a week. That's how the industry is set up.

So we started to design programs to show the industry how they could switch over, how we could present them with a replacement fiber for wood that they literally could use in their existing facilities. Because the amount of wood fiber that's being used is so massive, we couldn't find any other plant that has any hope of giving us enough raw material to supply the amount of fiber that's used from the forest today.

HT: Didn't C&S come up with a number like ninety-four million acres of timber versus four million acres of hemp?

BC: It's about that. According to the US Forest Service in Washington State, in the Pacific Northwest forests - which are the most productive forests in the world today - the average yield per acre, per year, is four hundred fifty-nine board feet. Now, if you take that four hundred fifty-nine board feet of lumber and you dry it down, take all of the moisture out of it, you have about seven hundred pounds of fiber per acre, per year.

HT: What do you get with hemp?

BC: The very first crop of commercial hemp harvested in England recently - and they don't know diddly yet - produced four tons of fiber per acre.

HT: More than ten times the yield.

BC: And that was in a hundred and twenty days. A good hemp fiber crop will give you up to ten tons per acre in a hundred to a hundred and twenty days. Which is twenty times as much production as with timber. Now consider that every year in the United States we use forty-five million tons of tree fiber for paper alone, which takes the annual growth of ninety million acres of mature forest. With hemp's ten tons to an acre, it would only take four-and-a-half million acres to satisfy our pulp needs. Even in a worst-case scenario - a single crop annually - it would only take nine million acres of hemp to supply the pulp. The complete thing would be nine million acres.

HT: So you're looking at annual yields of hemp that compare favorably to tree yields that don't replenish for twenty-five years.

BC: Twenty, twenty-five years is a bare minimum. There are some specialty trees, cottonwood for instance, from which you can get a crop out in seven or eight years. But even those will not produce as much fiber per acre after ten years of growth as what hemp will do in a hundred to a hundred and twenty days. And not only that, hemp fiber is superior.

HT: Why is that?

BC: For several reasons. Number one, it's superior in its strength to tree fiber. Secondly, it way out-produces tree fiber. Lumber industry people talk about trees' renewability. Yes, trees are renewable. Oil is renewable, too, if you've got a hundred million years to hang around! It's all renewable, but is it sustainable? Anytime you cut down a tree, it takes longer for the tree to grow than the life of the product that you're making from it. So, it's not sustainable from that point of view. Now hemp, on the other hand, takes a hundred to a hundred twenty days to grow, and that's sustainability.

Additionally, there are a number of environmental factors to consider, particularly in the making of paper products from pulp, the most important of which has to do with a substance called lignin. Tree fiber has lignin in it. Lignin is extracted with chlorine, a major river pollutant that converts to dioxins and so forth. Hemp though, is very low in lignin, so low that you can use hydrogen peroxide to break the lignin out. Which doesn't pollute anything.

So hemp fiber is superior in every way conceivable to tree fiber.

HT: What about hemp's effect on the soil? After you grow it for five years is your soil going to be completely depleted?

BC: As a matter of fact, just the opposite. Hemp is utilized to refurbish soil. Hemp leaf is fifty percent nitrogen. You take the leaf and put it back down into the ground to enrich it. The truth of the matter is we could take this damn clay soil out here in Oregon and make it into beautiful soil. Hemp is such a short crop that you don't have to rotate it, and you can grow companion crops with it. Around the world hemp has been grown on the same ground for years and years without depleting the soil.

Selling Public Forests For Private Interests

Future generations are being sold out by the German state to subsidise private mis-management of Germany's natural resources.

Choking on Spruce in Germany
By Gerald Traufetter

Half a year ago, the storm Kyrill toppled more than 40 million trees in Germany, most of them in planned spruce forests. But now, instead of environmentally appropriate replanting, foresters are returning to monocultures.

Tree farmer Georg Feldmann-Schütte's business is still booming. His mobile phone rings practically every minute. "Drive to the track where you loaded up yesterday," he shouts into the phone, barking his orders in a rapid staccato. "That was a truck driver," he explains, apologizing for the interruption. "We have to get the timber out of the forest as quickly as possible."

"Forest" is perhaps not quite the right word. For the past six months since the storm, entire hillsides here have been covered with a jumble of fallen trees. "It looks like a giant sat down here," Feldmann-Schütte jokes.

Speed is of the essence for Feldmann-Schütte's operation. The longer the lumber lies around, the more likely it is to get infested by bark beetles. Besides, the color of the wood darkens over time, and furniture makers aren't interested in dark wood. "Then we'll only be able to sell it as cheap firewood," Feldmann-Schütte explains.

The Frenzy Will Soon End
The high winds of the storm known as "Kyrill" (more...) mowed down at least 65 of his 100 hectares (247 acres) of forest. Feldmann-Schütte, a native of Schmallenberg in Germany's central Sauerland region, comforts himself with the knowledge that he was lucky not to have lost everything. He now has to sell at least 2,000 cubic meters of solid wood to sawmills.

But the frenzy will soon end, and once everything has been cleared away and seedlings are in the ground along his hillsides, life will return to its normal, quiet pace for Feldmann-Schütte. "Then I can sit back and watch the trees grow for the next 25 years," he says.

Kyrill, which swept across Germany on Jan. 18, was one of the most powerful storms to hit the country in decades. It knocked over even more trees in Germany than another major winter storm, Lothar, did at Christmas 1999. Kyrill left tree farmers, many in the mountainous Sauerland region, wondering what to do with at least 41 million fallen trees.

That was half a year ago, and now it has become clear that the damage left in Kyrill's wake hasn't made foresters and tree farmers any smarter. In many places they are planting fast-growing plantations of conifers once again. Feldmann-Schütte is no exception. "I can't afford any experiments," he says, apologetically.

Ironically, it was precisely spruce trees that suffered the most damage from the storm's high winds. For decades, environmentally savvy foresters have been preaching the same mantra: "If you want to destroy the forest, plant spruce, spruce and more spruce." Kyrill proved them right. Sixty-five percent of all toppled trees were spruce.

Farmer's Bread and Butter
Environmentalists hate the trees almost as much as the forestry industry loves them. The spruce grows quickly, becoming tall and as straight. Partly because the spruce is the ideal tree for producing long boards, it is considered the tree farmer's bread and butter.

On the other hand, the spruce has shallow roots, making it vulnerable to storms. "The dry weather of the last three years has also weakened them," says Peter Wohlleben, a forest ranger from Hümmel, a village of 500 inhabitants in Germany's western Eifel Mountains region. Wohlleben embodies the type of forest ranger who has switched to environmentally sound forest management.

Kyrill also raged across the 1,300 hectares Wohlleben managers as forest ranger. "But the high percentage of deciduous trees limited our damage," he says happily. Beech trees are predominant in his forest, but maples and rowan trees have also sowed themselves without much effort on Wohlleben's part. All of these species shed their leaves in the winter, when the most powerful storms typically rage. "It's the most natural form of storm protection," Wohlleben explains.

In his view Kyrill, despite the widespread destruction it caused, created the opportunity for a new beginning, and the introduction of a more natural -- and sustainable -- approach to forest management. It could allow an attractive forest to develop and replace the spruce forest. Why, Wohlleben asks, shouldn't this disaster herald the end of monocultures, in which the range of species is as narrow as in a cornfield?

'Forestry Is Like Piloting a Tanker'
More important, a shift in forestry methods could help prepare German forests for global warming. Climate researchers' forecasts for the year 2100 seem a long way off for many people, but not for tree farmers. "A tree I plant today will be harvested at the end of the century," says Wohlleben, who believes that now is the time to draw the right conclusions from climate models. "Forestry is like piloting a tanker. We too take a long time to stop or change course."

All climate researchers agree on one point: Spruce trees will not be able to survive Germany's climate for much longer as it gets warmer and dryer. The Bavarian Forest Institute (LWF) recently concluded that, as temperatures rise, Germany will no longer be in the climate zone in which the spruce can survive. It's a different story altogether with the beech tree, which is native to Germany and will repopulate the areas left empty as spruce trees die out.

Or at least they will if they are allowed to. But Wohlleben and his fellow activists at the Working Group for Natural Forest Management (ANW) have noted with great concern a return to the days of monoculture. "What we believed had disappeared decades ago is returning, slowly but surely," he says. Because the spruce is susceptible to natural disasters, profit-oriented tree farmers have increasingly been using the Douglas fir, a conifer from the western United States, and the American coastal pine. Both trees are considered relatively heat- and storm-resistant.

But as foreign species they carry ecological risks. Because Douglas firs are not native to Germany's forests, the local flora and fauna, especially microscopic organisms, do not establish habitats in the new environment. "The forest deteriorates into a species-poor desert," says Wohlleben. Only the bark beetle has become accustomed to the Douglas fir so far, and is already infesting it with gusto.

Ecologically Crazy
But the trees can also import new pests from abroad. German gardeners are currently experiencing this phenomenon with their Colorado pines as they notice the sticky trails of the bark louse, a native of North America, on the trunks.

But tree farmers are undeterred by these risks. Hans Graf von der Goltz, the national chairman of the ANW, fears the return of monocultures where Kyrill has knocked down entire forests. "They'll grow Douglas fir or spruce in monoculture and harvest everything after 60 years," says Goltz, a senior forestry official from Schmallenberg. "And if a storm takes care of harvesting the trees, the plantation owners certainly won't mind."

Environmental activists are especially outraged that the state has even gone back to subsidizing this far-from-sustainable practice. According to the guidelines for reforestation following Kyrill that the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation, Agriculture and Consumer Protection of the state of North Rhine Westphalia will announce this month, the state will pay a subsidy of 40 euro cents per seedling, even in forests which are 50 percent conifers. "And this despite the fact that in the past conifers were no longer supported," complains Bernd Dierdorf, the head of the forestry office in the north central city of Minden.

The subsidy program, at a cost of more than €100 million, is being financed partly from the sale of state-owned forest land. In a memo dated May 8 of this year, the ministry asked its forestry management offices to identify suitable parcels of land. According to internal sources, 26,000 hectares (64,220 acres) of forest have already been registered with the ministry. This is a scandal for Dierdorf. "They want to give away the family silver to promote forestry which is ecologically crazy," he says. Spiegel.de

Translated from the German by Christopher Sultan

The Coming Storm

At some point in the future the people in Germany are going to have to take the forests out of private hands and move these vitally important ecological resources away from petty euro-minded short term private interests. The reason behind these future moves will be ecologically sound resource management of the environment to ensure sustainable practices for future generations.

At the moment the groups sitting in control of the public lands in Germany are selling the valuable forestry resources, and are selling out the resources of the German people. In the not too distant future all this will change. Many diverging factors will come together to stimulate that change. People will no longer tolerate the private ownership and the disasterous mis-management of the natural forest lungs of Germany. The people will have no choice, if they continue to accept this abuse of the ecological resources they will lose all of it. I don't see that happening. Losing those resources is not a future people in Germany want their grandchildren to inherit.

The private owners plant the wrong trees, the increasingly powerful storms destroy the tree plantations and the state sell off public land to subsidise the private planting of more (waiting to be blown down) mono-culture tree plantations. Does anyone smell a bad smell here? It stinks down to the last rotten core, and rather than cry over this sell-out people will simply have to reverse this (at some point).

It is possible that, at some point, more severe storms will further damage the privately owned mono-culture plantations and all the money paid by the public purse to subsidise the previous disasters will be lost. Why are the resources of the many being paid to subsidise the few? The pay-out is not even viable nor sustainable. Meanwhile, the natural forests are being cut down at an ever increasing rate because the demand is for Oak, Beech and Pine... You don't have to be Einstein to figure out what is happening here!

The doomsday clock is ticking, and only people with a sense of integrity will be able to turn events around to avoid a future disatser that does not have to be. We are destroying our own future. It is also possible that a complete change in climate, in the human climate, will one day hold these people accountable for their criminal actions. I don't see them getting away with it in the future. What is happening today is a total mis-management of public resources. To save the forests the climate change will have to effect the minds of humans living on the planet at this time.

One Last Chance To Change

Before the tipping point is reached the people in Germany (and in Europe) will receive a number of natural warnings. If nothing is done to safeguard what is left of the ecological sound forest resources, then the future devastation will run out of control and little can be done to stop it. The tipping point will be similar to the sinking of the Titanic, once the hull is breached and the ship sinks - it sinks - and that is what people will experience.

People still have alternatives, they do not have to allow the state to sell out the future of their children, the future can be changed before the hull is breached. The changes will probably arise out of a great sadness and an urgency to preserve what is left of the German forests. To do this the current practices of mis-management and the paying of public funds to support non-sustainable short sighted practices will have to stop. The public will not have to 'buy back' the lands, they have already paid hundreds of millions to the forest farms, only to see them fail and fall back into debt. This will eventually lead to judicial challenges as people waken up to the real disaster and public betrayal.

In the coming years, as events unfold, people will have to decide to accept business as usual or to move to protect what is left of their environment. The warnings from nature will be a 'wake up call' to protect what is left of the sustainable environment or allow the present system to run amok and sell out the future for a few Euro. Which future do you want for yourselves and your grandchildren? It is for you to decide.

Climate change? That is a very simplistic description of what is about to happen on this planet. The short-sighted euro greed mis-management of essential resources will not hold out against the dramatic changes in climate we are all about to see. These unnatural mono-plantations will not only be suceptible to disease, but they will not be able to hold out against the coming storm. The correction will have to be a universal one, or how much longer do you think you can continue to sell off public land to pay out more 'subsidies' for incompetance and non-sustainable private plantations?

Spruce Monocultures in the Czech Republic

Future Tree Trouble
A Compilation of Testimonies on the Negative Impact of Large-scale Monoculture Tree Plantations prepared for the sixth Conference of the Parties of the Framework Convention on Climate Change by Friends of the Earth International in cooperation with the World Rainforest Movement and FERN.

The Sumava Mountains Case Study
This case study examines the pitfalls of a forestry which relies on monoculture plantations, and in doing so offers a warning about the ecologically devastating effects that joint implementation and other flexible mechanisms in the Kyoto Protocol could have on forests in the Czech Republic and elsewhere unless monoculture plantations are strictly prohibited.

The history of spruce monocultures in the Czech Republic reaches back to the second half of the eighteenth century. Since that time, Czech forests have been devastated by over-exploitation. The replacement of wood (until then the main source of energy, including for heating) by coal allowed for a reduction in wood harvesting, essentially saving Czech lands from complete deforestation. Around the same time, the science of forestry was born, with its goal of assuring an adequate supply of wood in future years.

The first foresters quickly discovered that some species of trees (spruce, fir, pine) have better production features than others and started to selectively replant forested areas - especially with spruce and pine, since the shade-loving fir does not grow well in deforested areas. The foresters thus replaced other species with mostly spruce trees, and with pines in the lower elevations. They later harvested the wood; this clearcutting and planting method was the preferred "forest" management strategy.

Both the monocultures and the clearcuts had disastrous impacts on the health of forest ecosystems in the Czech republic. What remained of natural original forest gradually decreased in area and became confinedmostly to inaccessible areas free of forest roads. The peak of this clearcut-and-monoculture management style was reached in the 1970s.

Spruce Plantations and their Impacts
High mountain spruce forests are the only example of natural spruce forest in the Czech Republic (natural spruce growth at low elevations is very rare). Mountain spruce growth can be found in harsh climatic conditions at elevations higher than 1000 meters above sea level and in cold mountain valleys where the only other species that can survive are mountain-ash, birch, sycamore and maple.

Spruce monocultures have replaced not only natural mountain spruce forests but also fir-beech forests of middle elevations and oak forests of lower elevations. This means that foresters are growing spruce under conditions which are not suitable for it (out of its ecological optimum).

If the expected global climate change occurs, spruce vegetation might migrate to the higher elevations and natural spruce growth would remain only at the top of the few highest peaks in the Czech mountains. In such a case we can also expect a mass degradation of spruce monocultures at lower elevations where the spruce will be completely out of its ecological habitat. With this is mind it is incomprehensible that 50 per cent of forests at these lower elevations are still reforested with spruce.

The inner structure of forests is significantly changed by the growth of spruce monocultures. The forest structure in a monoculture contains an artificially high stand density, trees all of the same age and species, and results in closure of the tree canopy. The vertical diversity is minimized (lower younger and higher older trees and various bushes are missing) and herbs are ruthlessly suppressed due to the increased shade (mostly in the younger growths).

The reduction in species and genetic diversity is even more radical owing to the monotony of structure and decrease in sunlight. The methods used to extract wood during clearcuts further damage many species of plants, animals and micro-organisms, which are killed directly or indirectly by loss of habitat.

Because all the wood is removed, the forests forego the period of decomposition which is an irreplaceable source of biodiversity. Clearcuts completely change the character of the vegetation, as the clearings (paseka) are soon covered by light-loving species like the red elderberry (Sambucus racemosa), great willow herb (Chamerion angustifolium) and grove ragwort (Senecio ovatus). In the last decade an invasive bush reed grass (Calamagrostis epigejos) has dangerously expanded within the spruce monocultures (in the mountain areas it is complimented by hairy reed grass - Calamagrostis villosa) and it represses the majority of native forest species. The expansion of the range of spruce monocultures has caused a radical decline in most forest herbs, which under ordinary circumstances form a green ground cover in leafy and mixed forests.

Forest hydrology is also disrupted by such changes, as is the water system in the countryside at large. Interception and absorption of precipitation are reduced. World Rainforest Movement

Knowing all this, why are public resources being sold in Germany to pay for the present and future private incompetance of a disaster waiting to happen. Who will pick up the ecological and financial price tag in the future? These mono-culture plantations are a white collar crime. The plantations damage the natural ecological balance, damage natural species habitat and create the spread of non-native mono-culture-disease. Public resources are paying for this? It is insane.

In 2067 - Who Wants Spruce Trees?

"They'll grow Douglas fir or spruce in monoculture and harvest everything after 60 years."

The short-sightedness of this move to cultivate quick sell spruce and fir mono-plantations across Germany is really hard to believe. Between 2007 and the 'harvesting date' in 2067 a lot will have changed. I doubt that the world will still be relying on wood resources in the year 2067.

Hemp will soon become a leading alternative to wood, and for good reason: the planet just does not have the resources to keep feeding the growing demand for trees. At some point people will be forced to change to Hemp products as well as utilising new innovations to move mankind away from relying on forests to fire the continued development of human society.

Not only that! People, in the future, will think and act differently than they do today. Priorities will have changed, and business as usual will not be an option. The primitive logging practices will most probably be as extinct as the dinosaurs, and new more ecologially sound practices will be developed. The way we live and consume resources today is both unpractical and wasteful. This current insanity cannot continue.

The only reason Hemp is not used today to replace paper and wood products, is because the political and commercial setup is configured to ensure business as usual for the forestry and timber trade etc etc. However, growing Hemp is the way of the future, and the people will look back on this period as a dark and corrupt age in human history. Right now we are living in that darkness.

In 2067, who wants Spruce trees?

From German Oak Trees To Chinese Chopsticks

Chinese Dragon Devours Germany's Forests
Anjana Shrivastava, Writer and Journalist

Germans are afraid of a new kind of Faustian bargain, in which the nation will be tempted by the devil to sell off its forests, thereby selling its very soul down the river as well. In this drama, Germany plays the troubled hero with Europe's largest reserves of the valuable commodity of wood. The role of the devil is played by the ecologically reckless Chinese dragon, hungry to devour all the world's forests.

"From Oak Trees to Chopsticks", is a headline found in the Westfälische Allgemeine Zeitung. The paper tries to measure the potential threat posed by the growing Chinese demand for wood; so far, there are only rumours of imminent Chinese purchases of stretches of the German woods.

The Chinese haven't even touched one tree, but Germany has already set off alarms. Will the good old German forest be sold off? This would involve a sale of souls, if we believe Christoph Rullmann, Director of the Society for the Protection of the German Forest. According to him, very few countries have such an intimate relationship to their woodlands, which he calls "the soul of the Germans."

Wildfire of rumours
The wildfire of rumours began when a North German real estate agent, Matthias Manthey, began to advertise nationally that Chinese investors were highly interested in buying up pieces of the German forest. If he was unspecific on the details, he claimed that his Chinese clients were buying German forests "as the devil may care." Germany's union of forest workers picked up on his story and appealed to the nation to put an end to the sell out before it really got underway.

Private forest owners like Count Carl-Eduard von Bismarck began to issue denials like this one: "A sale of the Saxonian Forest (Schleswig Holstein) to the Chinese was never and is not currently planned." More denials came from state governments like that of Schleswig Holstein, which has been looking to sell off some of its forest lands. Manthey claims that the sales to the Chinese are being made through middle men and stooges. The head of the forest workers' union workers, Bernhard Dierdorf affirmed to the Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung "No forest owner would allow himself to be caught making such a sale, because in Germany the forest is so highly emotionally charged."

Forest is seen as the ancestral home of the nation
Why does selling a piece of forest border on treason? Because it was from the depths of the woods that the Germanic tribes dealt the Roman Empire its first signal defeat in Northern Europe at the Battle of the Teutoburger Forest in the year 9 A.D. In many nations the woods have been considered the home of lowly robbers mainly; in England the greenwood was the home of liberty in the form of Robin Hood and his band of merry men. But in Germany, the forest was seen as the ancestral home of the entire nation.

The feelings run very deep in the popular mind. A reader of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung sees these reports of a forest sell off as a "sell out of ourselves, our identity, and everything for which our ancestors have fought and suffered."

It is one thing when German forest owners sell their wood to China: one third of German wood exports goes to China, including oak in ever greater quantities. Germany, after all, is an export economy par excellence. But it is another thing when foreign investors, especially ones as "foreign" as the Chinese, buy the living woods and propose to manage them.

Various worries
The various worries which have been expressed are that the Chinese will not replant the trees they chop down, or that they will replant with them with a monoculture of fast-growing pine trees. Or that they will not take care of the hiking trails through the forest, or even that they will charge admission to Germans to enter their ancestral groves. That Chinese investors will theoretically be bound by the same laws as German forest owners today is not enough for many Germans, who have seen traditional regulations give way to the rules of the market in other areas of German life in recent years.

Sales of the forest is a matter of national (emotional) security, as if they could place the national soul at the disposal of strangers. The taz argues in this manner: "It is not only the forest workers who are deeply disturbed. This is about the spiritual ground of the German soul, bought up and slaughtered for cheap imports from abroad?"

Indeed the vast majority of what China buys up in wood gets sold back to the West as finished goods, as cheap imports. Thus, the guilt of selling the wood is more or less compounded by the guilt of buying it back later. In Goethe's "Faust" the devil promises to fulfill the desires of Faust in this world in exchange for Faust's soul in the afterlife. Is it really the Chinese who threaten the German woods, or is it developments in Germany itself? The Financial Times Deutschland tries to downplay the Chinese threat in: "Red Scare for the Green Wood".

German forest is unattractive for investors
"It is highly arguable whether German forests would really be interesting for investors given their ownership structure. About 46 % of the forests are privately owned, all the rest are owned by federal, state and local governments. The private forests are mainly small, under 30 hectares. Those are completely unattractive dimensions for investors, according to the associations of forest owners. And state and local governments will hardly be interested in selling to investors, given the public outcry which would surely ensue."

The threat to the forest is for the taz a central problem for modern Germany, "In all this chaos, the German forest endures peacefully, it could continue to do so for many hundreds of years. To simply cut it down for quick money, --well, a better image for the insanity of unbridled capitalism could hardly be found." And with that comes the other Faustian dimension in this story. Dr. Faustus spoke of his deep conflicts by claiming that he had two souls in his breast, one that clung to nature and one which strove to overcome it.

Germany today also has two souls, a capitalist one which still strives to compete as an exporter with the Chinese dragon, and an anti-capitalist one which resists the effects of globalization. The capitalist soul powers the modern industries of Baden Württemberg and Bavaria, The anti-capitalist one, as we have just seen at the protests at Heiligendamm, will take up its issue in the woods, in the very heart of the oldest of national myths. Stay tuned for more conflict. Debatte.welt.de

Saving The German Forests

During my first visit to Germany, some years ago, I was staying in the area of the Odenwald and on the first night I woke up out of a dream I never ever forgot. At the time, and for many years, I never really understood this dream fully; but now I understand it. In the dream I was above the earth and was being shown the destruction of the Odenwald by some spiritually advanced beings and perhaps the oversoul of the forest itself. In the dream this destruction was happening in my lifetime, and because I know how much the German people care for the remnant forests that are left today, I could not imagine that they would ever allow the remaining forests to be destroyed.

This dream showed me that deception would be behind the destruction of Germanys remaining forests, and especially the Odenwald. Since then I have carefully observed events to see if any of this could be true. In the dream I was shown that once the forests in Germany were destroyed that the destruction of the German people would follow. It all sounds highly unlikely, unless you understand that on a spiritual level (as well as on a practical level) the forests protect the spiritual and physical existence of the people. Obviously, what we do to the forests and trees we eventually do to ourselves.

The dream was not showing me that events were set in stone, it was warning that if certain events play themselves out, those events will lead to the destruction of the people in Germany (in the future). It was said to me that the fate of the German people is intertwined with the fate of their forests. The remaining forests are the soul of the German people. Who would sell their soul for pieces of nickle plated tin? Or, maybe centralised powers will sell the souls of the German people, as was shown to me in the dream.

Long before the current expansion of the European Union, and the mass migrations we are now seeing, I was shown tens of thousands of people pouring into Germany and all of them were demanding resources and housing. The dream was very graphic and so I saw the trees (the forests) being cut down to make way for the massive influx of immigrant populations, and this is now happening. For example, the smaller towns are being rapidly developed through large investments of capital (probably from the development fund of the EU). This year houses are going up everywhere. It is expansion and growth, and nothing to do with conserving resources and protecting 'green zones'. That which was once green is being cut down to make way for grey. The 'green zone' has been reduced to a spindley sick looking tree dug out of a tree nursery and planted amid the recently poured mass of concrete. The older trees are gone, nothing must stand in the way of EU expansion. One day soon people will deeply regret this mistake.

I was not only shown the destruction of the Odenwald, I was shown details of how the forests in Germany would be sold off. These were businessmen, hand in hand with developers and regional politicians. They were meeting (in secret) and forming public policy to meet the demends of business and development corporations, and the regional politicians (in the dream) were in the pockets of the developers. It was a sell-off and a sell-out of public lands and resources. At the time I could not see how this would ever be possible in Germany.

The dream was very clear about how the forests would be destroyed due to betrayal and deception. Also due to high level lies and manipulation. Areas of Germany I know were not being logged until a couple of years ago, when the whole process of destruction began. They come into Nature parks and public areas and each year they pull out more and more trees. It just does not stop. The forests are getting thinner and thinner and less able to withstand increasingly severe storms. People are being sold the public relations mantra of: 'forest management' and cutting to make the forests 'healthy and strong'. If you study what they are actually doing, they are cutting into the forests in ways that are damaging the forest environment.

The mature trees are protecting the younger trees, and in the future the older trees will take the brunt of the storms and protect the new forest underneath. This has always been the case. The forests grow in cycles. There are key locations where the elite houses stop on the edge of forest areas that cannot be developed (yet). If the forests are damaged by current logging practices, then those damaged areas will be devastated by the severe storms which will sweep Europe in the years ahead. That is when the developers will come in and make money out of those devastated areas. This is prime untouched real-estate waiting to be exploited. As long as the trees are standing and are protected from development the areas cannot be touched.

There is a beautiful natural area, which is supposed to be a 'Nature park', which is currently being logged and they have marked all the key mature trees that balance and protect that part of the forest. Once they take those trees down the area will be a skeleton of trees, and this is a location that takes a lot of force from the storms that sweep through the area. It is also potentially prime real-estate for developers. The damage has not yet been done, but we are getting close to the tipping point. Once that tipping point has been crossed, there is no turning back. Then the unheard cries of the trees will be the future unheard cries of the people.

The most important warning in the dream, is that the future destruction of the forests in Germany, to make way for expansion and development, would be planned in secret behind closed doors. The key factor was that the strong regulations protecting the natural areas in Germany were getting in the way of growth and development. In the worst possible scenario, the planners and the regional politicians will get away with it and the German forests will be destroyed, and that is a very dark future. I was shown that end result future, from which I woke up with tears filling my eyes. The last thing I heard as I woke was a voice, as though the forest itself was speaking. The voice said: "Destroy the Odenwald and all of Germany will share the same fate."

It is not just the Odenwald, it is all of Germany's forests. The trees are of more value to the people and the world alive and standing. The small short term gain that a few people make for themselves in cutting down the trees and selling them is the future destruction of the essential environment that is behind the climate that keeps Germany (and Europe) alive. The more damage done to the forests, the more danger there is of extreme climate shift in terms of drought, loss of water resources, loss of air quality and a severely damaged essential to life habitat. To then sell that land to foreign investors is cultural and environmental suicide. No one should own these lands, they are the inheritance of the people. The forests should be protected, not sold off and not cut down.

Killing Forests In Germany

Over the past couple of years I have observed, not only an increase in the logging of trees in the Nature parks in Germany, but a brutality to the logging that just about wipes out everything in the surrounding 'logging areas'. This year in particular I have noticed an increase in the dark, grubby little, pfennig grabbing destructive greed that is destroying our grandchildren's natural habitat. It all comes down to money, and that ownership of the local natural resources should never be in the hands of people who grub after money.

Where do the marvelous trees one sees each day in the woods and forests of Germany end up? Who are these faceless people selling and cutting the future natural resources of the unborn children? Where does the money go, how do they sell off the forests of the German people? Who comes in and cuts the wood? Who benefits as the older and younger trees are felled?

The marvelous pine and oak trees, the acacia and beech trees, the walnut and the fir trees one sees in the Nature parks are being quietly sold off year by year for what? Trees that would outlive the humans now selling them and cutting them down are being removed from the land, destroying an irreplacable, valuable, ecological asset. The trees do more ALIVE to protect against 'global warming', than they do chopped up into little pieces to provide you with 'Bio-fuel'.

This is what I suspect is happening, on top of the increasing demand for wood as the European monster spreads it consumer oriented growth at the cost of the local environment, quality of the water, quality of the air, of the soil and at the cost of our lives. People do not yet understand that what happens to the trees happens to us.

A little further down the road, when the sawdust hits the fan, all these people who have sold out on future generations will be hated and despised. By then it will be too late for everyone. The money grubbing euro-slaves will have detstroyed the ecological balance for everyone, and what do they care that you go down the toxic drain with them? The anger that is coming will overthrow governments, and will throw all these pseudo-grey-greens out of the community picture for good. Will it all be too late?

Who cuts the trees, and where do they go? Who sells the trees? Who takes account of how they destroy the ecology of areas? What do they care? Did someone say bio-fuel? There wont be a building standing when the truth of this scam hits the real economy. The rage people will feel may also probably be too late. Too late for the people, and too late for the trees.

This is only the beginning of a lot of people getting bio-rich. By the time the scandal brings those people and institutions to their knees, the wonderful forests will be sawdust and wood chippings. Your grandchildrens tears wont bring them back to life. We are reaching the tipping point. Really you don't want to know what beyond the tipping point is like, but I think that this is probably what the future will bring.

Look at the rising price of wheat, and the falling supplies, due to the increase in (bio-fuel) demand. Look at the falling trees (locally) and the increase in demand (locally). Will your favorite (recently cut down oak tree), that was in the forest long before you were born, be the wood-chippings in your tank? If you knew that this was the tree they turned into fuel for you to burn, would you care? What will you say to your grandchildren when they ask you about the long term sell out?

You should see the spindley new logging piles sitting (tagged) at the side of the road. They come into the forests now cutting through the months in size-variation waves. The logging is increasing. The ancient trees are disappearing rapidly and the future is disappearing with them.

Why spoil the fun? They are all so happy to be making money. Local community sellouts are the future sorrows of people who will hang their heads in shame, when the sell-out becomes a burn out. No one can yet imagine the tipping point, but when it is reached there is no turning back.

How is it that you are all being sold this lie about forests for bio-fuels, food for bio-fuels to save the planet? The trees save the planet when they are growing, and not when they are chopped down and dead, processed and burned. "In Germany, approximately 60 million solid measure of timber is felled each year..." Can Germany afford this? Maybe this year? Maybe next year? Does anybody care? They will one day!

"The Cambium forestry company cultivates a forest area of 32,500 acres located in Odenwald, a forest region in Southern Germany, close to Heidelberg." They are Germanies largest forest management company. If you saw the way they are logging through the local forests you would maybe wonder who is behind this increasing depletion of natural resources?

People will look back and ask how can a 'company' own the rights to destroy the natural resources of any part of the planet, the life blood of the local area? How can a few individuals and organisations control and benefit from resources that are essential to the ecology of the planet as well as the local environment? In the future, this wasteland approach to local resources does not exist. Before this happens, it seems that the scam will go on and the trees will fall. In the future they are trying to save the forests, not cut them down.

There are viable alternatives to cutting down trees, but the people benefitting from the exploitation of the forests do not want alternatives. Everyone else follows along with the way things are, until the sawdust hits the fan. You would have to watch it happening, year by year, to understand how people are being deceived and taken for a ride. The public image looks so clean, but the mess they have made of the local forests where I live are not a pretty sight and the demand is growing, while the trees are falling, and the real crisis is drawing ever near.

Oxygen Rich Cells

My little mono-diet against mold/candida Allergy is working, Kefir being better than Joghurt in that respect. Using the Kefir as a base to add grapefruit seed extract and Kieselerde has also worked well. In the last round I began to add extra magnesium/calcium supplements to my diet, which has also greatly reduced the allergy response symptoms. As the yeast overgrowth is reduced the electro sensitivity has also disappeared, and my sensitivity to electrical thunderstorms has gone away. Although I feel sensitive to cold damp weather, the hightened or intensified allergy response to mold and fungus during damp weather has also gone. Just breathing the spores in (where a building is breeding mold contamination) was enough to cause a severe reaction. All those reactions have now gone, although I still feel uncomfortable when I smell fungus spore in a room or a building.

I am still researching the oxygen factor, and while doing a search for oxygen suppliers in Europe I came across an interesting website for special enzyme yeast cells: Zell Oxygen® plus // =en=. This is along the lines of what I have been looking for over the last few months. Something that nourishes the cells of the body and allows the natural health of the cells to replenish themselves with nutrition and vitality (oxygen).

Special Properties of Enzyme Yeast Cells
Yeast for baking, yeast for wine making and brewing beer, yeast in the form of tablets for a good looking skin. Yeast is a highly versatile product. The positive health benefits have also been known for centuries. But: yeast does not always mean the same thing. Baking yeast ferments and beer yeast is a waste product from breweries, only with a vitamin content. Enzyme yeast cells, on the other hand, are of high quality and full of good ingredients. They contain numerous amino acids, vitamins, minerals, trace elements and enzymes. The reason: they are cultured with fruit juices and wheat germ extract and are filled in their natural liquid medium. In this way they remain biologically active and place their full strength at the body’s disposal. The yeast cells are particularly thin-walled, making them easy for the body to absorb. They exert their effects where our strength is generated: in every single cell in the body. =0=

Even better is that the yeast cells will not feed the candida.

Do the enzyme yeast cells promote the growth of mushrooms in the intestine? No, the enzyme yeast cells Dr. Wolz strengthen the defense protection of the colon.

May I take enzyme yeast cell preparations with a Candida illness? The yeasts used in the preparations are not the Saccharomyces kind (e.g. Saccharomyces cerevisiae) and do not have anything to do with Candida albicans, except that they rank among the yeasts. They are called non "sickness-causing" yeasts (apathogene yeasts). Contrary to Candida albicans, these yeasts stimulate the immune system in a different way (Phagocytose, IgA production), and so help to prevent the propagation of Candida albicans. Also, their feeding and active substance contents (enzymes, B-Vitamine, mineral materials, trace elements among other things) enzyme yeast cells make a valuable contribution to nutrition, above all to those suffering with a Candida infestation. Preparations with enzyme yeast cells are even to be recommended for those with a Candida illness.

I have ordered the Zell Oxygen and the Darmflora as part of my ongoing experiment. I have this theory that certain essential foods help create what I call 'beneficial polarity' in the cells and organs of the body. My theory is that correct cellular magnetic frequency is synonymous with oxygen and basic cellular nutrition. We may eat fruit, or vegetables but these foods have to translate into clean energy and the many basic microscopic building blocks of the cells. There has to be a harmonic frequency of electricity, magnetism and oxygen. Some kind of polarity which is the sea of life in which the physical cells carry out their alchemical transformations of inter-cellular substances. My theory is that the altered polarity created by an overgrowth of mold, fungus and yeast interferes with the sea of life polarity within the body.

The first test hit my empty stomach pretty hard, but maybe that is because I took everything all together and all at once (as Bilbo Baggins would say). The enzyme supplements did not cause an allergy reaction and this morning I took half the amount with Kefir and my stomach was fine.

I was thinking, in the future, this is probably how people will feed themselves. High enzyme nutrition rich foods that feed the body at a cellular level with live enzyme juices or liquid green foods.

The Great Law of Peace

Sidhe (shee) - "Peace" in Old Irish. Aes Sidhe, "or people of peace," is the name for the spirits and ghosts of the Otherworld. The "aes sidhe," the faeries. In Gaelic, the word "sidhe" means both faerie and "peace." The faeries are the people of peace.

The Sidhe bring us wonderful gifts from their world. Legend tells us they brought art and science to humankind. The doorway to the Otherworld is in the mind... both our minds and the mind of Nature.

When we first enter the world of the spiritual seeker, we cross the borderlands into Tir na n-Og in the sense that our consciousness begins to partake of its character – one that seeks for the beauty in things. There, we leave behind some of the values of the mechanical, “mundane” world. We have entered the world of the Sidhe. We sense marvels, miracles and have visions. Our inspiration and creativity increases.

Most artists inhabit this plane of consciousness when they are creating. Their daily life, whether they are aware of it or not, is an ongoing relationship with the Otherworld,. This is the realm of the Muse who teaches us new, deeper ways to perceive life. When art is used with spiritual intent it becomes a powerful tool for transformation. It is, after all, how the Sidhe want us to use their gifts – to grow and change.

Tir na n-Og is the secret, enchanted inner life of Nature. It is the intuitive land frequented by artists, inspired scientists, magicians, seers, shamans and spiritual seekers. All who work in these fields have some degree of interaction with this level of consciousness. Within the Celtic tradition, because this world is known and visited, natural gifts often become heightened through working with the Sidhe.

At what point did humans become so egocentric and isolated, that they began to imagine they are the only life form in the universe? Our current laws of physics relegate plants, animals, birds, trees insects and fish to a lesser status. Today, man relates to the surrounding world in terms of bio-robotic forms of life functionally carrying out tasks. Never let it be said that life is alive in ways we do not currently appreciate, and even less do not say that the (invisible) faerie worlds are real. The superiour isolated ego-human has only managed to trash the planet in less than 100 years. Mechanical thoughts create a mechanical man.

When I create a garden I leave an uncultivated space for the Faerie people. I may introduce stones there, or herbs... but the area is for the wild plants, and it is there I watch what nature does. You would be amazed what nature creates when the Faerie people inhabit the borderlands of your garden.

If nature is a mirror that perfectly reflects back to you what is in your mind and heart, then thinking mechanical will mirror back mechanical, and thinking lifeless will mirror back lifeless. Nevertheless, out of reach of our perceptions the mysterious world will continue, unseen. When a dumbed down human stambles upon a mystery he either falls to his knees and worships it or he is terrified by it and the mirror reflects back what is foremost in our minds.

Our species has grown out of the world around us. Our species is supported by the world around us. Many thousands of years ago, a branch of humanity saw itself as the ultimate Gods. They did not want to share, and their hearts turned cold. They set out on a long journey to take command of the world and force all human beings to follow them. The incredible chaos we see today is a result of this thousands of years old battle to get all the humans on earth to follow the commands of this one sick branch of mankind who see themselves as Gods.

If they were Gods they would not have had to struggle for thousands of years, and still be struggling now, to get all humans to obey them. They would not need intrusive technology to carry out their global supremacy, because as Gods they could just command it to be so... Perhaps out of jealousy, they began a long campaign of destroying the environment in the name of progress, because the true power is the earth itself. Only when human beings return to live in balance with the earth will their spiritual immune system destroy this parasitic infestation of the living dead.

COIS NA TEINEADH

Where glows the Irish hearth with peat
There lives a subtle spell—
The faint blue smoke, the gentle heat,
The moorland odours, tell

Of long roads running through a red
Untamed unfurrowed land,
With curlews keening overhead,
And streams on either hand;

Black turf-banks crowned with whispering sedge,
And black bog-pools below;
While dry stone wall or ragged hedge
Leads on, to meet the glow

From cottage doors, that lure us in
From rainy Western skies,
To seek the friendly warmth within,
The simple talk and wise;

Or tales of magic, love and arms
From days when princes met
To listen to the lay that charms
The Connacht peasant yet.

There Honour shines through passions dire,
There beauty blends with mirth—
Wild hearts, ye never did aspire
Wholly for things of earth!

Cold, cold this thousand years—yet still
On many a time-stained page
Your pride, your truth, your dauntless will,
Burn on from age to age.

And still around the fires of peat
Live on the ancient days;
There still do living lips repeat
The old and deathless lays.

And when the wavering wreaths ascend,
Blue in the evening air,
The soul of Ireland seems to bend
Above her children there.

The Unformed Star Gate

For perhaps the past two thousand years human beings have looked outside themselves to worship static forms of power manifest on the earth. Those static forms of power can be seen all over the planet today as temples, sacred sites, places of worship and ancient ruins (the skeletons of the past). These wonders have been man's focus for the manifestation of religious and spiritual power on earth. In the background only a small number of ancient art forms, in the mental sciences of Archeoastronomy, Sacred Geometry and its mirror: the structure of atoms and molecules as revealed in many ancient forms of art, meditation and original forms of music. =0=

During each of the developments over the past two thousand years, one aspect remained without true understanding. The human being, focusing all his awareness outside to the world around him, lost touch with the inner reflection of the divine.

Despite the advancements in technology, human beings are wandering around the earth with less awareness than a monkey, depending totally on the outer society, on the outer physical structure and its technology (which they personally cannot maintain), and on the outer spiritual structure into which they are born.

A conscious being cannot interact with static forms of power when they themselves are not in tune with the basic geometrical energy frequencies emanating from the solar cells on the surface of the earth. The unformed Star Gate is the human being, inhabiting the surface of the planet, totally dependant on physical technologies developed for them by others and essentially unaware of the inner dormant power of consciousness.

The incredible bio-diversity seeded on earth is here for a reason. The earth is similar to an ancient library or cosmic bio-diversity seedbank. It is a reference center for a multitude of essential DNA, crosslinked across the cosmic universal spectrum. The earth-bank was seeded, because an extremely higher form of consciousness became aware that 'in the future' off world civilisations and planets would reach an unforseen crisis. Library earth would be the solution to that crisis on many levels. Therefore on the earth you have this amazing wealth of interplanetary life forms. Including plants and basic micro-organisms, cells, fungi and yeasts.

It is not really a good idea that one aspect of interplanetary concsiousness would control the planet earth, due to off world inter-racial conflicts and unresolved differences between races. Therefore the human animal (part native of the earth) was planted here in all its forms to ensure multi-level co-operation and maintenance of the cosmic root DNA library. The human being is configured to live on the earth as the steward and protector of the inter-racial seed bank.

If an intruder would, using humans, set up a defence system intended to deny interplanetary races access (in the future) to much needed DNA - they could potentially control who survives the future glitch and who does not survive. The knowledge contained in Interplanetary Library Earth exists for the benefit of all those who wish to use the library, and is not for the exclusive benefit of the few.

The human race also exist to prevent abuse of the vast DNA resources stored on planet earth, including the protection of human biology, as mankind is also a DNA resource - everything on earth is. It may come as a surprise to some that we are the solution. Humans are not only the stewards and guardians, but the solution is encoded into the human DNA.

In order to become who we are to be, the human being must overcome the very old antagonisms inherant in the off-world DNA fragments which were added to the basic earth-entity code during the time period mankind was created. We are the library of the future, but only when we overcome these most primitive antagonisms and superiority attitudes, conflicts and fears.

Many off-world races are totally against the inner unification of concsiousness on planet earth, because they fear the effect it will have on their own cultures. DNA is connected throughout the universe, it is not a planetary phenomenon, it is a Cosmic (universal) phenomenon.

All the races who contributed DNA to the earth library over millions of years of earth's history are not only watching what is happening here, but many are actively trying to prevent the change from occurring. Would you leave your future in the hands of a Fool?

The Century of Restoring Earth

Just Imagine! In The Future: 2100
Nine-year-old David asks his great-grandfather Kevin Featherstone, then aged 105, how the Healing of the Earth took place. Kevin replies: "It all started with individuals here and there, deciding to make a difference with their lives. When they began to work with Nature, rather than against her, seeming miracles took place - the Earth really responded to our love and care." Restore Earth - Trees For Life

Just imagine! On the 7.7.2007!
The whole world would switch off their electricity, cars and planes for 24 hours and REALLY make a difference. Applying the ancient alchemical principle that less is more.

Krishnamurti: This is not an entertainment, either philosophical or intellectual. We are concerned in observing all this, how to bring about a radical change in man, how to bring about a total revolution, not the revolution of bloodshed, physical revolution, that doesn’t lead anywhere. There is only one revolution, psychological, inward revolution, because the human being, you, is the society. You have built the society. And in that society, in that culture, you are caught, therefore you are the world, and the world is you.

One of the most profound things about this planet is its natural silence. Human beings make a lot of noise, seem only capable of creating noise as a way to shut out the incredible silence of the earth. A silence so overwhelming that it can alter the way the human brain responds to nature.

By 2020, it has been predicted that 50 percent of the world's populations will live in overcrowded cities. As the world debates the impact of climate change, relatively few people consider noise as a serious form of pollution. Although the natural areas of the earth can manifest this intense stillness and silence, physical reality is the manifestation of harmonic musical tones, vibrations and sounds. It may be that the noise we create disrupts the harmonic frequency of the earth, including pulse microwave frequencies, far more than the toxic sewage poured into the oceans, lakes and rivers.

How can one effect radical change using the medium designed as a form of mass escapism? How can an issue such as the ecological renewal of the planet be used as a mass form of entertainment? I am beginning to understand why the Nepal Buddha Boy is meditating underground...

Always when dealing with powerful harmonic frequencies silence, meditation and reflection are the keys to understanding and moving in a new direction. When harmonic convergence frequencies are pouring into the planet through newly opening consciousness birth chambers, the seeds sown germinate in the silent mind.
