Is Europa an extraterrestrial colony?

The mythical goddess Europa will soon appear .. wait for it! On Europe's new banknotes, called the 'Europa' series. Europa will appear on the watermark and in the holograph of the Euro. Bringing security and possibly divine intervention.

Don't laugh! I am serious!

Meanwhile the U.S. media are trying to make jokes about the new Euro banknotes being protected by a mythological deity [a woman] .. at the same time the U.S. Dollar has a pyramid with an all seeing eye printed on it !!!

The other more secretive factor no one wants to talk about is man's relationship with symbols and the unseen effects symbols have on human beings and on "energy" or "Qi".

Putting Europa onto the new Euro bank notes is not some conspiracy of esoteric magic .. it is a very real down-to-earth phenomenon, that affects our human world in a similar way to electricity.

Electricity cannot be seen .. but it can be felt. An electrical current brings your computer to life, but electricity is a dangerous force. If you touch it .. it can kill you. Yet! You benefit from its use each day.

An electrical spark starts your car... where would we be without transport? But don't touch the car battery .. you may not survive !!

Much more subtle than electricity is Qi / Chi / Prana life-force. Qi is your bodies life-force .. without which you cannot survive. Yet! How many of us are aware that it exists? Qi is in all living things .. plants and animals .. even inside crystals. Pyramids are rich in Qi .. that takes us back to the symbol on the Dollar bill.

Symbols have their own subtle energy. All symbols (of the ancient world) are based on Universal principles. They may have mythological meaning .. but they also have deeper meaning. Symbols can effect humans on superficial levels of thought .. or they can interact on deeper levels and layers of reality.

For me .. these symbols tell a story of the origins of mankind .. including relationship with the Heavens .. the mystery of the Universe .. the Constellations. Like a very ancient map leading to a very ancient treasure. This treasure and the path are inside us.

Europe takes its name from the myth of Europa and the Bull, the story of which is written in the heavens in the hieroglyph of the Constellation of Taurus.

According to a particular tradition and viewpoint that sees the myth as describing the spiritual purpose, archetype and geomantic nature of Europe, Europa (the goddess) is represented by the three lands known historically as Scotland, Ireland and Britain (i.e. England and Wales), known collectively and historically as The British Isles, whilst the Bull (the god, Zeus) is signified by mainland Europe.

As in the myth, the Bull rises out of the Black Sea with Europa on his neck and shoulders, his head down, back arched. The move to put a holographic Europa on the Euro currency is much more than the lesser media minds making nervous jokes. Woman can lead countries in Europe .. but not in the United States.

Is Europa the Pleiadian Zone?

The story of Europa and the bull (Taurus) has to be an origins story disguised as a Goddess and a Bull. It was originally the mythology of the constellation of Taurus.

I do not understand the symbols .. but I understand the 'energy' behind the symbols. People generally do not understand that the human mind is designed to interact / interface with gylphs, pictograms and symbols.

This is why humans can design electrical circuits, read electrical plans, design and build complex structures using stone, wood and metal. It is part of how the human mind works.

If I take a computer apart and put it back together again, the motherboard, the processor, the RAM and the video cards .. are all easily understood by the human mind as three dimensional symbols. My mind instantly processes the structure as a complex symbol.

Why did ancient humans (our ancestors) conceive of the existence of a Fourth Dimension? We already live within the Fourth dimension, only our minds cannot see it. We do not directly interact with that dimension although it exists all around us.

How does this relate to Europa's holographic symbol?

Symbols are a form of energy that relate to and interact with all dimensions, from the lowest dimension to the highest dimension. The energy within the symbols can be as useful as an electric-current and they can be as dangerous as an electric-current.

This is why mathematicians can construct and test theories using mathematical models. Numbers and mathematical symbols are a language that applies in logical form to dimensions other than the one we currently inhabit. It is the same with pictograms and glyphs.

I have this theory that the whole Earth is an extraterrestrial colony and that humankind came from the Stars .. and that long before the imbalance occurred, the different Nations lived in harmony without wars.

Chinese Backlash Hits Short Seller

Short selling gets out of control when valid companies become a target for lies, disinformation and fraud. Manipulating information - targeting legitimate companies - to bring down the price of the companies stocks for the short sellers own profit.

A number of prominent technology leaders in China, including current and former executives from Google Inc. and Microsoft Corp., are mounting an offensive against short seller Citron Research as they protest a spate of what they call unfair and inaccurate attacks on U.S.-listed Chinese companies. morningwhistle.com

Short Sell Attacks on Chinese Companies

Led by Kai-Fu Lee, former head of Google’s operations in the country, a group of more than 60 executives, investors and entrepreneurs signed a letter accusing China-focused short sellers—particularly Citron—of “targeting legitimate companies with either no problems or minimal problems,” manipulating information to write reports that “boldly tell lies, knowing that their American readers have no way of verifying them.” Mr. Lee is one of the most prominent technology executives in China, and currently runs an incubator for technology start-ups called Innovation Works.

In an interview, Mr. Lee said he fears that what he considers baseless allegations by Citron and others will make it “harder and harder for Chinese companies to go public in the U.S., which is neither good for China nor the U.S.” citronfraud.com

It is 20th of April, 2012 .. the time of the pink cherry blossoms. Grey and white clouds form, creating rain. Birds nest and seeds germinate. Most of this Planet is water .. what kind of rain do human beings in this world want?

Clean natural rain or radioactive rain?

I saw today, that India celebrate they can launch deadly nuclear missiles to reach China. That India celebrate their nuclear missile technology which can NOW obliterate Beijing and Shanghai.

I think to myself .. what kind of a world am I living in? I mean .. who would want to threaten and obliterate Beijing and Shanghai with long range nuclear missile detonations ???

I feel sick in my stomach reading the ugly media reports announcing the great leap forward in [India's ??] nuclear technology and destructive capability. I mean .. why China? Why Beijing? Why not that the Indian nuclear missiles can reach cities in America and Europe? Why do the "Western media" happily announce that India can nuke Beijing, China?

What the media do not say is that this great destructive nuclear missile development of "India" would kill many innocent people if they fired those missiles at Beijing and Shanghai. A nuclear missile fired at Beijing from India would kill innocent men, women and children, should it hit these cities... Duh !!

I'm sorry! I really don't see what there is to "celebrate" .. is there something wrong with me ??

What kind of a world am I living in?

What kind of human beings live on this Planet? Do you all want to die? Do you all have a death wish? Who would feel happy knowing that India could destroy endless numbers of innocent people with nuclear missiles aimed at Beijing and Shanghai?

Trees and plants would be destroyed .. animals and birds would die. Water and all surrounding land would be contaminated. The nuclear radiation would be carried around the Planet for generations to come. Affecting you and your children's grandchildren. What is there to celebrate ??

Nuclear fallout from an Indian nuclear attack on China would affect India, Nepal and Tibet .. as well as people living in Europe and all across America ..

Then there would also be retaliation as China hits cities in India ...

Oops! Wrong World! Wrong Coordinates!

I seriously think I ended up being born in the wrong world on the wrong planet and in the wrong dimension! I know I walked through the time portal door and somehow I ended up here .. on this planet .. in this time in history and it is totally the wrong place and the wrong time.

For example, I was reading in the Wall Street Journal that China now has a gigantic appetite for importing corn. Okay! That's cool .. why not? Then you read the article and your whole world gets turned upside down... Like a future world of overweight, sick, diabetic Chinese.

The reason I had these thoughts is the reason China is importing more corn than the planet can grow!

The reason is they are eating more pork and the Chinese farmers have been advised to feed the pigs corn. So, it's not like real people will be eating the corn; but pigs will be eating the corn so that people can eat the pigs. That makes sense and I am seriously trying to rediscover the correct co-ordinates to the place I was supposed to go to - instead of ending up down here.

It is not eating the pigs that could widen the waist size of the Chinese... Its the corn syrup. That is why I seriously need to find the right coordinates to get off the planet. Can you imagine the effect on gravity billions of fat Chinese will have on the rotation of the planet? It may even change Earth's orbit around the Sun.

Apparently, there is a growing demand (in China) for sweet drinks sweetened with corn syrup. As if sweet drinks sweetened with corn syrup is essential to maintaining and sustaining life. This is where I know that someone sent me to the wrong "Incarnation Co-ordinates". I am working right now to get that sorted out.

Go and research - high fructose corn syrup - in your favorite Search Engine and see what jumps out of the monitor at you and then you may know why I am convinced that I am on the wrong planet.

Here we are in 2012 (Sorry! 2011) and on the one hand you have people in Africa starving to death and on the other hand you have a whole industry of consumption where those who have food are sick and dying of malnutrition, because the food they eat is pure indulgence. The "health benefits" of these processed foods are well documented.

When I was growing up everyone was eating pork and drinking sweet fizzy drinks .. but not me. I would eat the potatoes, the carrots, the cabbage and the cauliflower .. but I would look at the lumps of iffy coloured meat and I never liked the look of that stuff and I very quickly stopped eating it.

All those brand name sweet drinks .. those "treats" for the kids .. I did not like them either. I liked home made Dandelion and Burdock Lemonade or simply water. I really should have realized then that there had been a serious router error when I arrived in this insane world where people live to eat rather than eat to live.

India - who already went the way of China - are facing an increasing diabetes problem and overweight. The people in India can read English; but none of them would ever read anything like: William Dufty's, Sugar Blues. Let's be honest .. no one in China is going to educate themselves to Corn Sugar °-)

Okay, human beings are on a fast lane to extinction .. but at what cost to the planet? Why are humans so greedy? It's as though no matter how much they get it is never enough. The pork, the chicken, the beef, over fishing the oceans. With this self-indulgent diet the men become impotent and so the black markets in tiger bones and rhino horns increases as the money pours there to kill these animals to 'cure' their sickness.

The funny part is this so-called civilization has some fear of HELL .. you know .. a much worse place than here. I think their idea of "hell" is somewhere they cannot indulge themselves. Somewhere - a world - where they cannot feed this desire for desire - because already most of them are living inside their own self-made self-created "hell" at the expense of everything else around them.

To see China go the way of America .. means we need new co-ordinates - fast.

Does all of this sound familiar? Do the struggles of ancient Greece sound sort of similar to the social and economic struggles of today? Well, it seems to be a human drama playing itself out in cycles .. perhaps because we do not learn; but simply repeat the patterns of the past.

Well, in reality what are we talking about here? Surely about resource conflicts. This is the basis of current economics. Resources are wealth, land is wealth, populations are wealth. For example, when the Anglo Saxons invaded Celtic Britain they enslaved the local populations to their laws and designs. Colonizing Celtic Wales, Ireland and Scotland was not only about land ownership; but it was also about ownership of the local populations - who are considered a resource until today.

Let's go back to Athens and Greece, where banks and institutions consider land, resources and populations as 'wealth'. I am not talking about 559 BC .. I am talking about now .. as in today!

As the future unfolds surely everyone knows or is aware that Greece will never pay back its 'debts'. Athens will also not agree to a 'land grab' .. assets for debt. Go back and study the history of this region. To the people of Athens and to the people of Greece any attempt to exchange land and resources for 'debt' will be seen as an 'invasion'. I am assessing this purely from a historical perspective.

You can 'lend the Greeks money'; but they will never exchange their land resources for 'debt' .. nor do they make good slaves .. from a historical perspective that is just the way they are. They wont do it for God, they wont do it for banks and they wont do it for the EU...

You may as well call the debt institutions 'Draco', from a historical perspective!

The Future For Europe's PIGS

This post has been fermenting in my mind since way back in 2010, when Portugal, Ireland, Greece and Spain became know worldwide as the PIGS of Europe. I was born with a natural awareness of my ancient Pictish / Celtic ancestors, an artistic, creative warrior culture. The original Celtic genetics think differently than modern man, where the so-called 'PIGS' of Europe were once part of a large cultural heritage stretching from Portugal to Greece and from Spain to Ireland.

We live in a clever world of manipulation and deception where words are used to form images (pictograms) in your mind / the human mind. The abbreviation PIGS was used by the media, and whoever is controlling them, to send a picture into your mind of farmed 'pigs'. Portugal, Ireland, Greece and Spain are ready for 'slaughter' .. they are greedy - sloppy - fat animals who give nothing and eat the scraps of the prosperous EU members .. REALLY!!?

In my analysis the first thing that came to mind is that the countries appeared to fail one-by -one (if failure is the right word) as GIPS - First, Greece, then Ireland, Portugal, Spain. So, where did the pictogram players get the word PIGS from? But let us stick with the PIGS pictogram and give it a new meaning!

Picturesque In Great Surroundings
Because I see things differently than the modern brain, it came to me that Portugal, Ireland, Greece and Spain have something that money cannot buy. They have beauty and the value of nature that cannot be bought or paid for. In reality, they have something of more value to humanity than all the printed paper Euros and Fiat Dollars currencies in this world.

Greece, Ireland, Portugal and Spain have something society today does not value. We live in a world of 3D physical resources, mining, production, 3D physical trade, value of technology, producing energy, of oil, gas and what people can produce to become rich.

We do not yet live in a world where the resources come second to: Picturesque In Great Surroundings .. where peace of mind, beauty, dynamic surroundings and the value of NOT PRODUCING are worth more than the EU PIGS who work to produce and export all the worlds fire/metal and steel technologies.

In 2011 - human society is still driven by the forces of fire and metal at the cost of beauty, peace and balance. Trees, water and valuable natural resources are sacrificed to feed the fires of the metal society. Metal 'hardness' killing power and fire destruction power.

Observing this, it occurred to me that Greece, Ireland, Portugal and Spain have resources that are not valued by a world that worships the metal and fire, the tools man produces at the cost of even more valuable resources people today have become blind to, in their greed for the technological power of metal and fire (energy).

In today's world it is inconceivable that the people of Greece, Ireland, Spain and Portugal will outlive the guy with his handphone typing the latest PIGS market manipulations into the electronic system. But they have land, water and the courage to prevail - while the guy with the phone has 'investments' '-)

Pigs are actually very clean creatures. These animals are very particular about what they eat. It is human farmers who force pigs to live in filthy conditions and to eat garbage slop poured into a slough. Go research the wild pigs [wildschwein] - the wild boar.

Uniformity does not create an environment where a species can develop to its highest level(s). Diversity and originality is the force that creates enlightenment of the species in all its variety. However, variety and diversity does not mean conflict and war. Conflict arises when one dominant species wishes to force other species to follow its patterns.

I imagine - for some strange reason - that human beings are a PLANETARY SOCIETY .. not a global society and not a divided continental society .. we are born from the Earth, we live on the Earth and we are all human (whatever that means) .. we share this planet.

The Matrix War Cycles 1810 or Was That 2010?

Little boys like playing with fire and bigger little-boys like playing with missiles and Nuclear shrooms .. so back down the line in 1810 (just in case you missed it - that was 200 years ago) there were the Napoleonic Wars. The only things to have changed in that time is Napoleon shot his shroom-bombs using a cannon and today men use advanced explosive technology, computer guided missiles, atomic missiles and ?? it is not that much different.

The problem is your mind.. or the lack of one. Mankind just loves the Matrix.. the drama.. the insecurity.. the explosiveness.. the repetition.. Just keep repeating the same pattern over and over again like a bad B rate movie. Let's call it "The 100 Year Dementia Wars". Maybe it is not every 100 years, but that sounds like a good title.

The Napoleonic Wars are significant to today due to the technical developments in armed combat and Napoleon's military strategy. One of the major components in Napoleon's arsenal of weaponry was heavy artillery fire with 8 to 12 pound cannons. These heavy artillery cannons were used in the American Civil War 1861 to 1865, and so nothing much changed military style between 1799 and 1865.. men were using swords, muskets, cannons and cavalry.

I seriously wonder.. is there some Matrix ghostwriter feeding humans the script over thousands of years? If so, then the writer has dementia and I think the dementia is getting worse.

From 1810 to 1812 Europe entered the Anglo-Swedish wars.. where Sweden attempted to partner with Napoleon. Are these Trade Wars? Sorry! Stupid question! Looking way back then, France and England were at war and by 1810 Sweden decided to align themselves with France.. the whole point being that England was Sweden's biggest trading partner.. Ooops! There is that 'Trade' word again! Funny!

A European 1810 - 1812 sea/naval conflict-of-interest unfolded.. maybe similar to the North and South Korean November 2010 conflict of interest with China on one side and America on the other. In 1810 English ships were allowed to use Swedish ports.. and dominant France did not like that agreement and so they put pressure on Sweden to send the English packing.

Trade power struggles from 1799 to 1815 were known as the Napoleonic Wars, the Anglo Swedish Wars and the 1807-1812 Anglo Russian Wars.. So, maybe I am wrong but this is a kind of similar behaviour in 2010.. archaic - isn't it!

Why do humans have to use killing and explosives, brute force and destruction to carve their way ahead? Then they repeat the same pattern of conflict over and over again as though the human mind is incapable of learning.

It is senile to imagine that North Korea is behind the latest November attacks on South Korea. Exchange France and England for China and America.. In 1810 it was France and England at war and in 2010 we face Geo-political trade wars between America and China. Played out on the Matrix chess board with a new kind of king and queen who can blow up the whole board with one nuclear detonation.

We trade across the seas.. that is obvious. China does not want the U.S. military sailing around in its waters. To imagine that North or South Korea has any power in this situation is insane. The North is controlled by China and the South is controlled by American interests. The two parties cannot agree and so a slowly evolving military conflict is creating tension.

If a planetary species does not evolve spiritually, then it resorts to 3D trade wars and struggle for 3D physical ownership of resources. Thousands of years ago the trade routes would be guarded by swords and today the trade routes are guarded by heavy duty nuclear weapons. How stupid!

It is obvious that over the next thousand years Asia (China and India) will dominate world trade and rapidly expand. These cycles are beyond 3D physical reality. From 2011 to 2111 there will be a long term change in the energies of growth from the material dominance of the Western Roman Empire to the beginning of a new Eastern Cycle.

No amount of atomic or any other kind of bombs will change that fact.

Of course, if you control trade routes and the new kid in town starts to take over, then ... things can get tough. But if you use your intelligence and look back over hundreds of years, perhaps you can move beyond the stuck-in-the-mud patterns of behaviour.

Keep in mind that the victims of natural disasters in Indonesia, such as the floods in Wasior, Papua, the tsunami in Mentawai, West Sumatra, and the volcanic eruption of Mount Merapi in Central Java, were not sinful people. They did nothing wrong. Nor did they commit adultery or any other evil deeds. These disasters were not God’s punishment.

Thus, insensitive remarks made by Tifatul Sembiring, the current communications and information Technology Minister, are absolutely unsympathetic. He said moral “depravity and decadence” had led to the natural catastrophes. This is simply a delusion.

Once again, the victims, like all Indonesians, are innocent people, but were plagued by misery, and because of this we have to extend our hands to help them. Condolences should be conveyed. Those who were drowned in the flood, swept by away by mountain-like waves, and burned by hot lava and ash were not punished because of their wrongdoings.

Remember that the most devastating disaster in the country’s history was the tsunami that hit Aceh five years ago. But that happened neither because the people were rebellious to the central government in Jakarta nor because they failed to enact Sharia law as they do now. In this case, religious norms and ethics are not the root causes.

It is true that certain natural catastrophes, such as global warming and flooding in Jakarta, were the consequences of mischievous human behavior. Man has somehow contributed to these miseries. We mankind are not committed enough to keep the balance of our ecosystem.

We have cut down too many trees in the forest, burned too much fuel, produced too vast a quantity of greenhouses gases, and failed to manage our cities wisely. We, mankind, are responsible for the destruction of some parts of this earth. Nature has been treated unfairly.

Nevertheless, natural disasters are often uncontrollable. It is beyond the ability of humans to avoid them. Scriptures and old chronicles — in their own ways — recorded the impacts of nature’s cruelty on human cultures and civilizations.

Noah and his people were confronted with a great flood — a story preserved and reenacted several times in the Babylonian texts, Sumerian texts, the Bible, the Koran and other Mediterranean traditions.

Furthermore, the Bible and the Koran also record the accounts of tribes, people, and villages destroyed by earthquakes, heavy rain, fire and plagues. As described in many science books, natural disasters and global climate change led to the extinction of the dinosaurs.

Just over a thousand years ago, the volcanic rage of Mount Merapi forced the old Javanese Kingdom to move from Central Java to East Java. Borobudur Temple, which stands as a testament to the ancient Javanese architecture, was buried by the volcano. An earthquake devastated Prambanan and other nearby temples many times.

From ancient times to present day, man has always faced nature’s wrath — a challenge that has stimulated man’s curiosity (from time to time) to further investigate the true forces of nature.

We Indonesians, surrounded by oceans and active volcanoes on the Ring of Fire should learn more lessons from nature. We should be able to differentiate between scientific explanations and mythical belief, so that preventive action can be taken.

Mbah Marijan, who was believed to be the spiritual guardian of Mount Merapi as entrusted by the Sultan of Yogyakarta, did not heed warnings from geologists that the mountain was ready to erupt. By staying put in his house on the slopes of the mountain he lost his life. Hot ash killed him.

His sad ending was not the result of his sins. But rather his mythical belief was the root cause of the grief. However, Mbah Marijan — like those who were hit by the tsunami in Mentawai, drowned by floods in Wasior and the two good men who tried to rescue him but instead died by his side — were innocent, not adulterous as theorized by Tifatul.

Mythical and religious perspectives, which can easily be distorted by preachers and politicians to make people afraid, still dominate our perception of nature. For the sake of our survival, warnings based on scientific observations and research should be heeded. Or else, Indonesians, like dinosaurs, will vanish.

The Indonesian Government, struggling to get emergency supplies to those affected by the latest earthquake announced earlier this month plans to spend 100 Trillion Rp to upgrade their military. The defense minister said that 16.8 billion Rp would be needed for military upgrade over the next five years.

Red Toxic Sludge Is Radioactive Warns WWF

"Radioactive and highly corrosive material contains toxic heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, arsenic and chromium... " says the World Wildlife Fund

As attempts are made by sludge officials and scientists to play down the ecological disaster caused by a tsunami of Millions of gallons of toxic red mud that poured out across farmland in Hungary, the WWF had been warning of leaks from the containment pit since June 2010 .. but no one was listening until now.

The WWF says it is fearful of the long term environmental impacts of the toxic mud disaster in Hungary. Covering around 40 square kilometres of land the toxic sludge has already made its way to the river Danube, killing all life in the now polluted Marcal River.

A video report by AlJazeera uncovered information that workers have been warning of danger and potential 'disaster' since the 1970s.

The AlJazeera report reveals that the dam was constructed using waste materials. Coal and wood ash were used to build the dam, which appears to be central to the gradual dissolving of the walls locals claim were aggravated by filling the dams with much more red sludge than the firm had permits for.

A June 2010 WWF aerial photograph of the wall of the Kolontar sludge reservoir clearly shows damage and leakage - three months before dam walls breached, killing seven, covering 40 sq km with toxic red sludge and sending a plume of caustic pollution down rivers into the Danube.

With rain forecast there are now fears that the continuing cracking of the wall of the reservoir could collapse sending a new wave of caustic red sludge into the devastated towns.

Magyar Aluminium Zrt.’s chief executive officer has been detained and the Hungarian government will take control of the company after a reservoir burst last week unleashing toxic sludge that killed at least seven people.

Plastic Internet Garbage Polluting Search Engines

In the early years of the Internet, before it became cluttered with 'entertainment' and general dumbing down of this incredible tool, you could do an Internet Engine search and come up with relevant information. Today most of the Search Engine techniques give you information and websites they want you to have. The results are contaminated with what I call IT (Internet Trash).

Search results on the major Search Engines spit out a general mixture of spaghetti vegetaria, bolognese, with ads for Parmesan cheese, wine, visits to Rome, buy Italien handbags .. my sense of humour .. and what you get is a refined mix of everything that can be dumped into a Search Result, and in some cases feeding you information or subtly leading you in the direction of feeding you - this is the direction we want you to go in - information.

It is like going into an Italian Restaurant and asking for Pizza Fungi and you are served Sweet and Sour Chicken with Curried Sauce. When doing research I spend a lot less time finding what I am looking for and more time dancing around keywords avoiding the trash that washes up in the search. As we search around, major Internet search engines throw out a lot of chewed up tiny bits of plastic that, in my opinion, pollute the search.

We now have a new concept: Search Engine Pollution .. Those thrown away bits of trash that float around and clog up Search Engines and get in the way of the search. This trash also includes 'Institutions', 'BIG NAMES' and the tiny shredded bits of plastic thrown out of the mainstream Media that choke the propellers of unique intelligence and thinking for oneself .. unless you have a natural built in water purifier.

I discovered the Cleveland Institute of Art History using DuckDuck search engine .. with La Tene as keywords .. so I am happy with that search.

WORIO Search Engine is in its BETA stage, and what I like about this system is that you have a little apparatus on the left, where you can conveniently change your searches from 'Worio' to 'Google' to 'Bing' in one click. I am a Tech Geek and so I like that kind of quick and efficient application.

The way I see it, the Internet is Sacred Ground. It also comes from the Earth. We humans tap into an ability the Earth has to transmit signals as communication. Using this medium we are doing what Whales and Dolphins do - only we cannot hear those signals with our ears, we use the signals to transmit words in written and spoken form. To do that we have to combine elements of nature in a way that allows energy to travel and carry signals that we can translate and understand. Out of those Earth elements we build computers and energy devices, Satellites and Transmission Systems.

Why do we have the skills to do this? Just to entertain ourselves? I don't think so. As with everything this special tool can be used to advance to the highest levels of one's own potential, or it can be used as an extension of personal petty indulgences. Over the last few years the mass indulgences - the trash vortex - have crept over the Worldwide Web like a spreading oil slick. So, I see a totally new kind of Web appearing in the 'future'. I call it the 'EarthWeb' - where infinite possibilities are born from your journey though infinite oceans.

Dark Serpent of Revenge Poisons Italy's Longest River

As the black oil-serpent poisons rivers and tributaries of Northern Italy, destroying habitat, poisoning the fish, killing many varieties of birds and wildlife .. the media and political-economic interests attempt to convince the world that Prosciutto, and Parmesan production as well as the rice farmers will not be effected. Of course the food chain along the rivers and tributaries will be effected. This is one of the worst ecological disasters to hit Italy - and it is not only the birds, wildlife and the fish who will suffer from the release of thousands of tons of fuel into one of the longest rivers of Europe .. humans will also be effected by this tragedy for many years to come.

The fuel released in Monza, North of Milan, poured into the river Lambro through the early hours of Tuesday morning after key valves in the refinery storage tanks were opened, in what has been called 'an act of sabotage'. The dark Italian serpent of 'vendetta', an act of revenge, has created an ecological disaster that will haunt Italy's natural habitat far into the future. The black serpent winding its way into one of Europe's most important rivers, is killing wildlife and poisoning tributaries with the pollution spreading through waterways from Milan to the Adriatic coast.

The released toxic poison is spreading through one of the most agricultural productive areas of Italy, poisoning not only the water and the groundwater; but seeping into the riverbanks as well as agricultural land in an area known worldwide for its 'produce'. This insane act of 'revenge' is a warning to all people inhabiting this beautiful planet.

Vendetta, [from L. vindicta "revenge"] is a sickness of the human heart that has plagued this planet historically over thousands of years .. but it is hard to understand that a former refinery used as an oil storage depot has no security, and nothing in place to detect open valves and the outpouring of thousands of tons of oil .. amazing !! Stupidity has also plagued mankind for thousands of years. It seems revenge, neglect and stupidity go hand and hand, until their combined disaster attracts attention of the rest of the tribe.

This is a truly horrible disaster.

The Po River valley covers over seventy thousand square kilometers, crossing the northern regions of Italy, providing over a third of Italy's agricultural produce. This oil spill is not only an ecological and environmental disaster, it is also a cultural and national disaster. The fuel will breathe out into the atmosphere as well as seeping into the earth and groundwater, polluting the soil. To try and cover up the reality of this terrible situation is as irresponsible as the casual storage situation that allowed this disaster to unfold.

Lombarda Petroli, owner of the oil depot is claimed to have managed to remove the depot from a list of 'at risk' industrial plants, which would have legally required the company to maintain safety standards and emergency contingency plans to deal with an oil spill.

Just look at us .. we are at war with each other .. we are at war with the animals, birds, plants, insects and fish inhabiting this planet. We are at war with the environment, at war with nature and the oceans .. and we are at war with the Earth itself.

Most of the planet is polluted and is a 'sewage dump' for man's war with himself. The Earth is the punch-bag for the petty human ego. That a small number of men fighting and struggling in one small troubled area can destroy wildlife, farmland and pollute the lives of tens of thousands of people across a region .. well, this is the harsh reality we now have to face. It is a failure of the heart, as well as an amplification of selfishness and a total lack of intelligence.

Copenhagen: Trade Not 'Global Warming'

The run up to the Copenhagen Summit has been fraught with controversy. For two weeks delegates and ministers have thumped their policies as better than others or criticized plans that do not meet their respective leader’s goals. Demonstrators arrested, countries wanting a free ride or exemption for those that emit CO2 at ratios that they believe is what they can achieve. Others are simply ignoring the issue altogether. And then there’s East Anglia, the single largest black eye to the global science community in decades. Right or wrong, this incident threatened the outcome of any deal that could happen. Connie Hedegaard, President of the Copenhagen summit said it best prior to the start of the talks: to get an agreement it’s a political solution and not a scientific one.

A deal needs to be signed, global leaders know that it must — or face consequences back home. As the opening gambit in the negotiations began to take hold, to get the text of an agreement done the real deal making started to make the public rounds - money. Japan offered $8 billion to help countries that need it. The script was soon followed by other nations, with the EU offering billions more.

As the second week of the conference began in earnest, the bickering continued with leaders not concentrating on the science or the naysayers at all, but instead the money and who was going to contribute what. Then a new carrot and stick was brought to the table: The United States announced $100 Billion. That woke every delegate up, but would it work and get talks moving in the right direction? For a few hours it did as government leaders from around the world started showing up. Cards were being laid on the table and it was time to call any bluffs and get a deal done. Some countries however don’t want to spend any money on emissions controls or technology.

China, the single largest emissions (per tonne) target in the world, knew that it was going to be at a disadvantage no matter what they did or do coming into Copenhagen. The arithmetic was not going to work in their favor; population ratios, manufacturing output, and the sheer volume of anything industrial in the country was going to hurt China’s economic interest, let alone what emissions technology was going to cost. China wants a ratio of reduction based on existing industrial indicators. The world wants reduction based on previous stated tonnes produced in either 1999 or 2004. China has flat out rejected such a model. Such a static model would be impossible to achieve for them, and other nations should recognize this and haven’t.

For many countries, particularly in the United States, Canada, and the U.K. the Copenhagen Treaty is the perfect instrument that conveys to China, that it should no longer be the low cost provider of manufactured goods. Everyone thought that the WTO would help equalize imbalances and it backfired. China’s solution was to fix its currency, which has prevented any equalization occurring.

Lost in all this is the work that scientists around the world have been trying to tell leaders, the world is getting warmer and climate change is happening. There is hope that the noise can be eliminated and a true emissions treaty can be signed. Scientists know all about politics, the question is, can they get around the economic rhetoric? At Copenhagen probably not, but if the nations can sign a deal of ANY kind, they can get a foothold that starts in the right direction.

Perhaps the biggest news coming out of Copenhagen: Presidents and Prime Ministers recognize that greenhouse gases are a problem they have to deal with. The naysayers of global warming are finished. As of 6:00 P.M. Copenhagen time, no deal has been signed and the talks continue with none of the world leaders indicating immediate departure. ZDNet - It's All About Trade

Alcohol’s Good for You? Some Scientists Doubt It

Roni Caryn Rabin June 15, 2009 - By now, it is a familiar litany. Study after study suggests that alcohol in moderation may promote heart health and even ward off diabetes and dementia. The evidence is so plentiful that some experts consider moderate drinking — about one drink a day for women, about two for men — a central component of a healthy lifestyle.

The Abstainers
Researchers have reported that light drinkers are less likely than abstainers to develop diabetes, and that those with Type 2 diabetes who drink lightly are less likely to develop coronary heart disease.

But the studies comparing moderate drinkers with abstainers have come under fire in recent years. Critics ask: Who are these abstainers? Why do they avoid alcohol? Is there something that makes them more susceptible to heart disease?

Some researchers suspect the abstainer group may include “sick quitters,” people who stopped drinking because they already had heart disease. People also tend to cut down on drinking as they age, which would make the average abstainer older — and presumably more susceptible to disease — than the average light drinker.

Industry Grants
In 2006, shortly after Dr. Fillmore and her colleagues published a critical analysis saying a vast majority of the alcohol studies they reviewed were flawed, Dr. R. Curtis Ellison, a Boston University physician who has championed the benefits of alcohol, hosted a conference on the subject. A summary of the conference, published a year later, said scientists had reached a “consensus” that moderate drinking “has been shown to have predominantly beneficial effects on health.”

The meeting, like much of Dr. Ellison’s work, was partly financed by industry grants. And the summary was written by him and Marjana Martinic, a senior vice president for the International Center for Alcohol Policies, a nonprofit group supported by the industry. The center paid for tens of thousands of copies of the summary, which were included as free inserts in two medical journals, The American Journal of Medicine and The American Journal of Cardiology.

In an interview, Dr. Ellison said his relationship with the industry did not influence his work, adding, “No one would look at our critiques if we didn’t present a balanced view.” Read full article - New York Times

"Absolut Magic" proclaims a print ad for a popular vodka. "Paradise found," headlines another. "Fairy tales can come true" says a third.

All these ads illustrate the major premise of alcohol advertising's mythology: Alcohol is magic, a magic carpet that can take you away. It can make you successful, sophisticated, sexy. Without it, your life would be dull, mediocre and ordinary.

Everyone wants to believe in happy endings. But as most of us know, the reality of alcohol for many people in our society is more like a horror story than a fairy tale. The liquid in the glass is definitely not a magic potion.

We are surrounded by the message that alcohol is fun, sexy, desirable and harmless. We get this message many times a day. We get it from the ads and, far more insidiously, we get it from the media, which depend upon alcohol advertising for a large share of their profits. Thanks to this connection, alcohol use tends to be glorified throughout the media and alcohol-related problems are routinely dismissed.

Alcohol is related to parties, good times, celebrations and fun, but it is also related to murder, suicide, unemployment and child abuse. These connections are never made in the ads. Of course, one would not expect them to be. The advertisers are selling their product and it is their job to erase any negative aspects as well as to enhance the positive ones. However, when the product is the nation's number one drug, there are consequences that go far beyond product sales.

Most people know that alcohol can cause problems. But how many realize that 10 percent of all deaths in the United States - including half of all homicides and at least one quarter of all suicides - are related to alcohol? The economic cost to the nation exceeds $100 billion a year. At least 13,000,000 Americans, about one out of 10, are alcoholic - the personal cost to them and their families is incalculable.

The tab for alcohol use doesn't end there. More than $2 billion a year - a sizable chunk of the over $90 billion the industry takes in annually - goes to prime the advertising and promotion pump and keep drinkers' money flowing freely. Problem drinkers and young people are the primary targets of these advertisers.

Of course, industry spokespeople disagree with this claim. Over and over again, their public statements assert that they are not trying to create new or heavier drinkers. Instead, they say they only want people who already drink to switch to another brand and to drink it in moderation. However, the most basic analysis of alcohol advertising reveals an emphasis on both recruiting new, young users and pushing heavy consumption of their products.

Moderate Drinking = Economic Failure.
Indeed, advertising that encouraged only moderate drinking would be an economic failure. This becomes clear when you know that only 10 percent of the drinking-age population consumes over half of all alcoholic beverages sold. According to Robert Hammond, director of the Alcohol Research Information Service, if all 105 million drinkers of legal age consumed the official maximum "moderate" amount of alcohol - .99 ounces per day, the equivalent of about two drinks - the industry would suffer "a whopping 40 percent decrease in the sale of beer, wine and distilled spirits." All the doctors and people who were living at the time of the 1918 Spanish Influenza epidemic say it was the most terrible disease the world has ever had. Strong men, hale and hearty, one day would be dead the next.

The disease had the characteristics of the black death added to typhoid, diphtheria, pneumonia, smallpox, paralysis and all the diseases the people had been vaccinated with immediately following World War 1. When the flu was at its peak, all the stores were closed as well as the schools, businesses — even the hospital, as the doctors and nurses had been vaccinated too and were down with the flu. No one was on the streets. It was like a ghost town. We seemed to be the only family which didn’t get the flu; so my parents went from house to house doing what they could to look after the sick, as it was impossible to get a doctor then.

If it were possible for germs, bacteria, virus, or bacilli to cause disease, they had plenty of opportunity to attack my parents when they were spending many hours a day in the sick rooms. But they didn’t get the flu and they didn’t bring any germs home to attack us children and cause anything. Having taken loans from traditional money lenders at extortionate rates, hundreds of thousands of small farmers have faced losing their land as the expensive seeds fail, while those who could struggle on faced a fresh crisis.

When crops failed in the past, farmers could still save seeds and replant them the following year. But with GM seeds they cannot do this. That's because GM seeds contain so- called 'terminator technology', meaning that they have been genetically modified so that the resulting crops do not produce viable seeds of their own.

As a result, farmers have to buy new seeds each year at the same punitive prices. For some, that means the difference between life and death. Take the case of Suresh Bhalasa, another farmer who was cremated this week, leaving a wife and two children.

As night fell after the ceremony, and neighbours squatted outside while sacred cows were brought in from the fields, his family had no doubt that their troubles stemmed from the moment they were encouraged to buy BT Cotton, a geneticallymodified plant created by Monsanto.

'We are ruined now,' said the dead man's 38-year-old wife. 'We bought 100 grams of BT Cotton. Our crop failed twice. My husband had become depressed. He went out to his field, lay down in the cotton and swallowed insecticide.'

Villagers bundled him into a rickshaw and headed to hospital along rutted farm roads. 'He cried out that he had taken the insecticide and he was sorry,' she said, as her family and neighbours crowded into her home to pay their respects. 'He was dead by the time they got to hospital.'

Asked if the dead man was a 'drunkard' or suffered from other 'social problems', as alleged by pro-GM officials, the quiet, dignified gathering erupted in anger. 'No! No!' one of the dead man's brothers exclaimed. 'Suresh was a good man. He sent his children to school and paid his taxes.

Senator Biden Predicts 2009 Bay of Pigs!

McCain noted that Democratic vice presidential nominee Joe Biden had compared Obama to John F. Kennedy, who presided over the failed Bay of Pigs invasion, then the Cuban missile crisis early in his term.

McCain said he was in his cockpit on the deck of the USS Enterprise in the waters off Cuba during the 1962 crisis.

" She then imagined the "crisis scenarios," based on what she described as Obama's foreign policy agenda: his pledge to meet with rogue leaders without preconditions, though he has amended that vow; and Obama saying he would go into the tribal areas of Pakistan to go after Osama bin Laden if the Pakistani government wouldn't, though Palin has supported a similar policy.

"Crisis scenario number three," she said, is that Obama's plan for withdrawing US combat troops from Iraq within 16 months of taking office would leave "some 25 million Iraqis at the mercy of Iranian-supported Shi'ite extremists and Al Qaeda in Iraq" and could force US troops to return.

Palin asserted that after the Russian invasion of Georgia in August, "Senator Obama's reaction was one of indecision and moral equivalence," which could encourage Russia to invade Ukraine next. "That would be crisis scenario number four," she said.

"But I guess the looming crisis that most worries the Obama campaign right now is Joe Biden's next speaking engagement. Let's call that crisis number five," Palin said as supporters laughed uproariously. Boston News
