A controversial winter roundup of all Bureau of Land Management officials began in earnest today, as aging politicians and out of work cattle ranchers strongly protested the roundup of individuals who had protected them and their lifestyles for over half a decade. The courts turned down the appeals against the roundup of BLM officials, ruling that these wild humans pose a threat to future safety of wildlife and the sustainability of public lands.

State officials and concerned citizens used helicopters to begin the roundup of all BLM officials across the United States, who will be moved to humane holding centers in the desert where they will be contained and fed for the rest of their lives. Sheryl Crow defended the removal of the BLM from public lands as being humane and in balance with federal laws.

"We waited a long time for this day to come, and so I cannot say I am not enjoying this roundup." said a local observer...

By mid-afternoon at least 1,330 BLM officials had been moved to their holding area North of Nevada, as key Whistleblowers helped officials with the roundup.

The beginning of the end for the Bureau of Land Management came in 2010, as increasing protests at the removal of wild horse herds across the United States led to a major turn in events. New Findings of illegalities, and a growing wave of individuals who could no longer keep quiet about the secret agenda behind the illegal removal of wild horses from public lands, led to the complete removal of the BLM from America's public lands.

"It sure is a day to remember," said Ginger Kathrens, creator of the Cloud Foundation, as she helped coordinate the roundup of rogue BLM officials throughout the state of Montana.

The end of the BLM can be seen back in 2010 when they began a winter roundup to capture thousands of wild horses and remove them permanently from the Calico Complex in Nevada.

Upon hearing about the BLM’s plans for the large-scale removal of 2,500 horses in northwest Nevada near the Black Rock Desert, more than seven thousand citizens submitted public comments to the BLM opposing the Calico Mountain Complex Round Up, scheduled to begin on December 1, 2009. Elko County Commissioner and rancher Demar Dahl's, "Horses are a resource, let's eat them..." comment, will go down in history as the defining moment when the true agenda for ranching land management let the cat out of the bag:

"We need I think to recognize that the horse is a resource. All of us love Bambi and all of us love deer, we all recognize that a deer herd has to be managed and we manage them and we control their numbers. And how do we do it? We eat them. The horse is a resource, there are horses that are good for companionship, good for pleasure riding, good for working cattle, good for jumping. There are some horses that I can tell you, and I have known horses all my life and I love good horses, but there are a lot of horses that are just to be eaten and that is their best use. And there are plenty of people and plenty of pets in this world that are willing to utilize that resource. The Gold Horse Prophecy & Crystal Skulls

I was doing some research into two unrelated areas (I thought) - the 'crystal skulls' and 'gold prophecies' - more their alchemical attributes. First I came across the Nick Nocerino - Crystal Skull Interview [Part 13], a discussion about the Native American Skulls with 'Swift Deer'. A few days later in my 'gold' search, I suddenly found the information below relating to Swift Deer's 'Path of The Twisted Hairs'.

How did my mind know to surf the information and join the two through apparently unrelated searches. The answer was: "We are the Crystal Skull". They represent us in clear terms. They embody some connection to our eternal soul. We have to awaken to this truth and not look 'outside' at the world or at the skulls, or at the prophecies. We have to look inside and find the reflection within, find the truth within and from that observation understand the external world.

The Gold Horse Prophecy
For three years prior to 1254 BC, they dreamed and worked together with the Ark of the Crystal Skulls to "see" the potential and probable paths of evolution for humanity and planetary destiny. Their collective vision, recounted by a trained orator, is 24 hours in the telling.

The prophecies are told as a metaphor of a horse race with eight horses of different colors representing mankind's different choices at critical turning points in our interaction with each other, with nature and life in general. In the original speaking of the prophecies, the sweet Medicine animals were seen as dogs for the dog is the "keeper" of the belief systems of a people.

As a result of the impact of the Spanish destruction and conquest and the introduction of the horse to this continent, the elders saw that the "medicine" or alchemy of the race would change. The medicine of the horse is that it is the "carrier" of the belief systems of a people; thus it became a Race of Horses.

Of the eight horses in the race, there are four that represent the four directions of the wheel of life and they hold the balance in the race. They are The Red Horse, which carries the earth changes. Earthquakes, floods, droughts, reactivated volcanoes, critical changes in weather patterns - all these are the earth's way of rebalancing and purifying herself. These have escalated in the recent years both in frequency and intensity, as she has to deal with the destruction and imbalance humans continue to propagate.

The White Horse carries the impact of economic, industrial, technological and scientific forces on people and countries. The sacrifice of nature and people's freedoms and inalienable rights worldwide on the altar of profit and power are the legacy of this horse and feeds directly into the impact of the Dark Horse.

The Dark Horse carries the dark energy of mankind. Quite simply, it carries the worst in us.

The Gold Horse carries Beauty, Power, Individual Autonomy and Freedom in Peace. It also carries humans living in harmony with each other, caring for and protecting the Earth and the life she gives to us. It carries a world without ignorance, war, poverty, pestilence, and famine. The Gold Horse carries the best in us-our shining, our potential for greatness as enlightened humans, as Rainbow Warriors.

The Prophecies speak of the need for the collective presence and intent of 144,000 rainbow Warriors, i.e., awakened humans, fighting for peace, harmony, and individual autonomous freedom to bring the Gold Horse to victory.

While Americans are on holiday, the Labor Day weekend round up decimates Cloud's herd as winter arrives

LOVELL, WY -- September 26, 2009 – On Saturday at noon, 57 wild horses from the Pryor Mountain Wild Mustang Herd, made famous in part by the PBS Nature documentaries, will be auctioned off to the highest bidders. A large crowd is expected due, in part, to the publicity surrounding the controversial roundup earlier this month.

While the missing members of their herd wait, tagged and branded in BLM holding pens, the damages of this poorly planned roundup are highly visible on the range. Beyond leaving this unique wild horse herd seriously below genetic viability, the horses on the range are clearly damaged.

“We were up on the mountaintop yesterday and the cruelty of this massive roundup has not faded away,” explains Ginger Kathrens, Volunteer Executive Director of the Cloud Foundation. “Cloud is lame on his right front and his filly-daughter is still extremely sore. It was painful just watching them walk to water.”

One of Cloud’s mares, also injured, appears to have a possible stifle injury. His four-year-old daughter, Firestorm, has significant difficulty walking at all. “I think they will recover but it is hard to know and winter is just around the corner,” Kathrens continues. In the past 15 years all roundups in the Pryor Mountain Wild Horse Range have occurred later in the year when the horses were lower down on the range.

This roundup took place in early September when nearly all the mountain horses were the furthest away possible from the trap site. Foals less than one month old were forced to run over 12 miles along with their families to the BLM corrals at the base of the mountain.

This roundup was scheduled early due to contractor availability, BLM desire to remove all horses from Commissary Ridge outside the designated range (a plan not revealed to the public until day one of the roundup) and National Adoption Day. The BLM is holding adoption events across the country and hopes to adopt out 1000 horses. “This is a significant event and will raise awareness for mustangs, but why they had to pillage this little herd for 57 more horses to adopt out when there are 31,750 wild horses in holding already is beyond me,” says Kathrens.

While at the turn of the century, there were approximately 2 million wild horses in America, there are only 33,100 mustangs left on the western ranges according to BLM. “I think the BLM knows that these horses will draw a considerable crowd and they put all the horses in danger with this early roundup. In what was planned to be a “model” roundup, even the most famous wild horse in the world was injured,” says Kathrens.

Citing “a disturbing round up a few weeks ago,” Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA) was instrumental in legislation that passed the Senate on Sept. 24, 2009. The legislation directs the BLM “to develop a new comprehensive long-term plan for wild horse populations by September 30, 2010” according to a press release from the legislation’s sponsor, Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA).

“The public outcry for preservation of our wild horses and burros is being heard” says Kathrens. “People are not willing to sit by and watch an unchecked government destroy a Western American treasure: the wild Mustang.” CloudFoundation

The Pryor Wild Horse roundup was quite alarming and troublesome. It was horrible to see old wild horses and their complete bands taken from their home, like Conquistador, Grumpy, Trigger, Shane and others vital to this historic and unique Spanish herd’s blood line.

It was heart wrenching to see Floyd, an exceptionally rare blue roan, who was beaten in the face, and who should be returned to the Pryor Mountains to live forever.

Then, there was Cloud, the stallion made famous by a PBS series, so courageously snaking his mares backwards into the corrals trying to rescue his family, so sadly torn from him.

But, who are these wild horses really? A little fact not well known is that the Pryor Wild Mustangs truly belong to the Crow Tribe. They are their “Crow Ponies”. They always have been. They always will be, and the Crows deserve to be heard with regard to these majestic famous wild horses that are a stunning part of their cultural heritage.

In truth, the BLM should listen to the Crows, for there is no one more deserving than they, who courageously fought to save their own lands, and who rode these spectacular Crow Ponies into many hunting quests and many battles. The Cloud foundation described the helicopter muster of the most famous horse in the herd, a stallion named Cloud, whose life has been recorded by documentary maker Ginger Kathrens.

"Cloud came in reluctantly and then turned and FACED the helicopter," the foundation wrote, "even taking steps back towards the range. Demonstrating his unbelievable courage and clear understanding of the trap he was about to lead his family into."

This wild mustang has more courage and intelligence than the current short term tenants who (unfortunately for the planet) inherited the wild and beautiful lands of America.

A convicted "horse killer" is being paid taxpayers money, by the BLM, to round up Cloud's herd... Real men - who love horses - would not sell their souls to the devil to carry out this environmental crime.

The BLM is attacking this one herd for reasons not fully explained. There has been no public mention of the extreme interest in this area by the Skyline Uranium Corporation, which has direct ties to the United Arab Emirates.

Lenormand Tarot Reading For Cloud's Herd

I am so upset about the removal of the wild mustangs from public lands across the USA that I decided to lay a Lenormand Tarot spread for these beautiful creatures.

Using the German "Das Lenormand Orakel" cards, from IRIS Verlag, I laid out my own "crystal spread", because a crystal grows reflecting all facets in a clear light, in a perfect way from all sides. This is my own personal understanding of how these cards speak to me using this spread:

Stage One: The present situation now, September 9, 2009. The Lenormand cards 6. The Clouds defined by 13. The Child - shows that there is an as yet unclear new beginning. The advancing (defining) card is "new beginning", although this is a difficult time, there are obstacles to overcome. I find it interesting that the first card was "Cloud(s)".

Stage Two: 26. The Book (of Secrets) defined by 2 Clover. There is a hidden power, and ancient knowledge (probably in / is part of the land the mustangs "protect"), and this brings "good luck". Horses and the people protecting them have passed through the valley (initiation) and it has made them stronger. The truth will be revealed and give them power. Sign of "good fortune".

Stage Three: 9. The Flowers defined by 14. The Fox. There will come a point where it seems as though peace has formed between the opposing parties, but behind the peace is some kind of deception or trick. People have to be careful and pay attention to the finer details. There may be a sly move to try and offer some kind of "deal". The cards also indicate the need for cunning (like the fox). Pay attention to detail, be careful. What is being offered may hide some kind of deception.

Stage Four: The final stage of the reading, "the future". 3. The Ship defined by 25. The Ring. The final outcome of all these factors together is 22 The Way. Someone is going to finance the protection of these horses. This is a partnership for "good" and it seems to arise out of the move to protect the herds against deceptive and manipulative interests. It may be a "foundation". This is a journey of many people, it includes the world. It indicates a greater cooperation.

This is a journey for the "international community". This card may also indicate the need for worldwide cooperation to regulate the "rogue behaviour" of "European descendants" abusing the American continent. These cards speak of correcting a disorder much greater than the destruction of the wild horse herds. The abuse of these horses is a symptom of a greater illness.

22. The Way - is the defining card for the whole reading. Everyone, including the wild horses, have reached a "crossroads", and all parties have to decide which road to take, to create the future. The last defining card is not really an end, it is a beginning...

The Way represents "destiny", but also that our choices manifest destiny. Choose wisely and the future is created by those decisions and actions. Choose wrongly and that future manifests as "reality" for people and horses alike. The Way is about "choices", about decisions and direction.

This reading is empowering. It is not overshadowed by any ruling power, and shows that people can still effect the outcome. The advantage favours those seeking to protect the wild mustang herds. They do have the power to carry this off, and they can succeed. There is some hidden mystery buried in the land supporting all their efforts and all their work. This power, a new beginning, is hidden. That may also be its protection.

In the searing 90-plus degree heat the first five mustangs, of less than 200 remaining in Montana’s only wild horse herd, are driven into corrals by a helicopter, forcibly removed from the rangeland they have occupied for hundreds of years. The Pryor wild horses and one palomino stallion in particular, Cloud, have been made world famous by the PBS Nature documentaries, the third of which will air this fall.

Despite public outcry over their reasons for this action, and clear failures in NEPA (National Environmental Policy Act) compliance, BLM is moving forward with the controversial helicopter roundup expected to last 4-10 days. "This unique little herd is being destroyed starting now," says Ginger Kathrens, Volunteer Executive Director of The Cloud Foundation. "70 horses and some foals are to be removed from their spectacular home in the wild and this will leave us with a non-viable herd.”

Dr. Gus Cothran, Ph.D. of Texas A&M University said today that this roundup "is overkill.” Critics of the removal say that it is clear that the BLM is refusing to listen to science and the wishes of the American public.

Legal efforts are continuing, but have so far not stopped this action.

Wild horse advocates and biologists say that by going against their own environmental assessment for this removal, BLM is ignoring the unique genetics of this herd. The agency plans to take off all the wild horses who live permanently in the Custer National Forest – from the 21-year-old mare known as Grumpy Grulla, to Conquistador, the 19- year-old band stallion as well as young foals. According to local residents and historians, the wild horses are simply living the way they lived before the BLM or Forest Service were even established.

"Removing an entire subpopulation is not the way to manage a small, precious and unique population of animals," continues Kathrens. "People enjoy seeing the horses in the Custer National Forest and extensive evidence exists that these horses have been in this area for centuries. It is vitally important that this range be legally expanded to allow this herd to grow to safe, genetically viable numbers.”

PRYOR MOUNTAIN RANGE, Montana – In the aftermath of an Honoring Ceremony for wild horses led by Douglas Spotted Eagle of the Northern Cheyenne and Mel Lonehill of the Lakota Nation on Saturday, Aug. 29, and a plea from U.S. Congressman Raul M. Grijalva (Ariz.), chairman of the Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests and Public Lands to “suspend all roundups until the agency has adequately demonstrated to the American people and to Congress that it has addressed the outstanding problems and updated its program to reflect 21st century values,” a temporary hold has been placed on Bureau of Land Management plans to destroy 75 animals in the Pryor Mountain wild horse herd this month.

Grijalva, in his letter, cited the BLM’s “use of outdated methodology;” its “aggressive, poorly managed removals” of wild horses in Montana and elsewhere (including the western reaches of San Miguel and Montrose counties); and charged that “the BLM has not formally considered other possible solutions, such as contraception, sanctuaries, or aggressive adoptions programs to deal with the current number of wild horses in long-term holding other than one pilot project in Wyoming.”

Telluride filmmaker James Kleinert, a participant in the Honoring Ceremony, is working on a film about the systematic removal of entire horses from public lands where, as Grijalva charged in his letter, “they belong by law in order to benefit private livestock interests at a cost to taxpayers of more than $21 million in 2007. “Making matter worse, over 19 million acres, on which wild horses and burros roamed at the time of the passage of the 1971 Act” protecting wild free-roaming horses and burros. Herds of horses that once roamed across American in their millions, have been reduced to wild horses numbering in their thousands. A hundred years ago an estimated two million mustangs roamed the Western range. Today there are fewer than 50,000.

Clouds herd, numbering 190, are to be reduced to 70 by the Bureau of Land management - well below the numbers needed to sustain genetic diversity. The Bureau of Land Management is rounding up and eliminating 12 herds (650 horses) off 1.6 million acres in Nevada - next they plan to destroy Cloud's herd with a massive removal of 70 horses that would include older horses and young foals. By zeroing out whole herds and reducing others to below genetic viability, the BLM is circumventing the will of Congress. Advocates Fight Nevada Wild Horse Removal

Wild horse advocates are seeking to halt federal land managers' plans to remove all mustangs from a large swath of eastern Nevada, saying the animals deserve protection under federal law.

The U.S. Bureau of Land Management has started removing 350 horses southwest of Ely and plans to begin removing 270 more in October near Caliente. The roundups affect all wild horses in an area around Ely covering 1.4 million acres or more than 2,000 square miles.

Horse defender Christine Jubic of Albany, N.Y., filed a petition last week for an emergency order to halt the roundup with the Interior Board of Land Appeals until it can rule on her appeal challenging the roundup. Wild Horse Removal

Big Cattle Vs Wild Mustangs
Most current Mustang herds live in arid areas which grazing cattle cannot fully utilize due to the lack of water sources. Horses are better adapted by evolution to such extreme climates. Wild Horse herds can range nine times as far from water sources as cattle, traveling as much as 50 miles a day. This allows them to utilize areas not grazed by cattle. In addition, horses are "hindgut fermenters," meaning that they digest nutrients by means of the cecum rather than by a multi-chambered stomach. Secret Plans to Destroy America's Wild Horses

Documents obtained from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) via the Freedom of Information Act by a Phoenix-based non-profit, The Conquistador Program, reveal shocking and detailed plans to destroy healthy wild horses in government holding facilities as well as those still remaining in the wild on public lands. BLM employees as well as a USDA veterinarian held weekly “Implementation Team” meetings beginning in July of 2008 in which they discussed and developed strategies aimed at ridding BLM of thousands of mustangs. In October they completed a 68 page document entitled “Alternative Management Options”. Tactics included in this document are reminiscent of those used to wipe out Native American tribes in the 1800s.

The BLM team created scenarios for killing mustangs using barbiturates, gun shots, or captive bolts. Bodies would be disposed of through rendering, burial or incineration. They discussed killing 1200-2000 wild horses per year.

Minutes from these meetings as well as the Draft Plan reveal what amounts to "the final solution" for the American mustang. Even Cloud and his little herd in Montana are in serious danger if Bureau of Land Management implements these options.

The BLM plans a massive round up in Cloud’s herd beginning August 30, 2009. They will not guarantee that Cloud and his family will remain free.
